Located in Athens, this charming house for $181 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Our cozy, newly renovated cottage is within steps of UGA's campus, 2.7 miles from Sanford Stadium, less than a mile from downtown Athens, and a mile from Five Points. The cottage is the perfect place for game days, college visits, wedding guests, or a weekend getaway to the Classic City. Complete with fire pit and new landscaping, the large backyard is perfect for outdoor entertaining and tailgating before games. Spacious Interior • Courtyard View • Board Games Living Room - Furnished with a 55" SmartTV with cable streaming services - Strong wifi connection 2 Bedrooms - Two spacious bedrooms - Spacious common rooms and comfortable bedrooms let you relax and reconnect with friends and family. - The large, front bedroom is nestled with two queen beds and a futon. - The other bedroom is furnished with a large, king-size bed. - All beds have new mattresses. 1 Full Bathroom. Full Kitchen - The kitchen is furnished with a coffee maker, microwave, gas stove and oven, refrigerator, dishes, glassware, pots & pans, etc. - Basic items such as coffee, tea, sweetener, salt, pepper, cooking oil, etc., are provided. - The house has full-sized appliances in the kitchen, as well as a washer and dryer which makes the home appropriate for any length of stay. Guests will receive a keypad code the day prior or the morning of their reservation date. A car will most likely be needed. There is also a bus that stops nearby. Uber and Lyft are also accessible. IMPORTANT: Before receiving check-in instructions, you must sign our rental agreement. Failure to do so will result in cancellation without a refund. If you would like to review our rental agreement prior to your reservation, just request a copy and we will send you one. Travelease Protection: We want you to have a worry-free vacation, which is why we offer our travelease protection program when you book with us. With this program, you'll have coverage for up to $200 in accidental damages. Plus, we understand that plans can change, so we offer the flexibility to cancel your reservation for any reason up to 14 days prior to check-in for a 100% refund, and a 50% refund for 7 days (minus the Travel Ease protection fee). Additionally, if the weather takes a turn for the worse, you'll have the ability to reschedule your stay. So, rest easy knowing that we've got you covered. Pets are welcome on the premises, and a pet fee of $75 applies. Please ensure to inform us in advance to secure authorization for bringing a pet. You are required to clean up after your pet, including waste or additional charges may apply.

This was a lovely property. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the kitchen was nicely designed. I have only two complaints: Getting out of the driveway is a little challenging due to poor visibility of the road. The bathroom door is one of those hanging barn doors that has a sizable gap at the bottom so it doesn't feel super private. With its proximity to the kitchen, you can hear pretty much everything. Besides that the experience was lovely and smooth and enjoyable.

We arrived at the property about an hour after check in time to find the unit hadn’t been cleaned from the previous stay. We called the property manager and they said someone would come by but they’d let me know. We left for dinner and after an hour hadn’t heard back. I reached back out and they texted to say the maids were there. They cleaned and when we returned there were linens on the bed and all dishes were done but obviously everything couldn’t be addressed in the quick after hours haste. We were finally able to get in and settled with our 2 year old 3 hours after our initial check in time with no further contact from the manager or discussion of the time we couldn’t be in the unit.

Though this is a cute little house conveniently located near campus, it is also located close to a hospital which resulted in several ambulances blaring during the night. Sheets smelled musty and you need to bring your own pillows. I probably could have overlooked all of the above if I didn’t find the check in process difficult. The property owner uses a third party company for verification. I really wasn’t comfortable giving my personal information and driver’s license to a foreign company. I’m addition, the verification required me to pay another $35 fee which wouldn’t have been a big deal, however, I only stayed one night. I probably use VRBO once a month and have never encountered something like this before.

The home was really pretty, clean, well stocked, easy to access, and the check out process wasn't burdensome. Would definitely stay here again if I go back to Athens.

Overall we had a good visit here and would stay again. A few items that need some attention include the hedges surrounding the driveway , which made it difficult to see when pulling out. There was a pothole in the driveway too that made entering and exiting the property a challenge. The microwave did not function, although we did not report this as it was easy to work around with all the other appliances in the kitchen. The decor is top notch and the kitchen was well appointed.

This place is ok for a night or 2, but anything over that, not so much, the neighborhood is very noisy,(ambulances, bass all time of night), tv in the living room didn’t work, microwave didn’t work, lots of bugs because the grass has not been cut in some time, fire pit was overgrown, if staying more than one night bring your own trash bags and laundry detergent to wash towels. This place would be very nice if it was kept up a little better.

Boy was I surprised! Remodeled cottage with nice furnishings and great location. Well stocked kitchen (although I wasn’t there long enough to enjoy it except for a cup of tea!). House has a lot of history and new owner definitely put a lot of thought into the remodel. Highly recommend. If back in Athens, I will stay here again.

We were in town to watch a UGA softball game. This adorable home is perfect. Comfy, cozy, everything we needed. The host communicates in a timely manner. You can’t ask for a better experience. Will definitely book again next time in Athens.
