Villa
Stayed in villa Estrella over Christmas and New Year ,we spent 11 nights here and overall we had a pleasant stay , the villa is out of town so a car is needed , - walking is around 40 mins to top of strip, taxis were around 7-10 euros, two large supermarkets very close by . Villa was super clean and had everything you could wish for for a few weeks in the sun , there are a number of items that need addressing and replacing in the villa the main one being sun loungers - rooftop there weren’t any just three or so stacked in a corner along with chairs to downstairs table all broken , around the pool there were four loungers , one was split with the two plastic loungers the material was stretched so you could feel the plastic bars underneath, toaster full of toast and rusty (unusable), cracks in tiles main bathroom opening for many ants, iron melted material on plate(cleaned best I could) , ironing board super thin so marked clothing, main bedroom curtains grease marks in large areas - pool was heated , sadly this time of year the sun only reached the steps so didn’t help to heat ,rooftop hot tub area was lovely in the mornings with a coffee watching the sunrise- on day five messaged host as pool wasn’t very clean due to dust from arrival days rain and this was cleaned later that day - we hope these improvements are made for future guests .

Great communications with Ben right from the start. Excellent information received especially the recomendation on car hire which proved to be the best car hire I've had in Spain. Villa was well equipped, spotless and in a very convenient location. Having supermarkets within walking distance was very useful. Only a short drive to the beaches and the centre of Coralejo.
The only downside to the holiday was the pool heater dying just as we arrived. Unfortunately it took nearly a week to fix so the pool was "bracing". Ben immediately offered financial compensation for the lack of heating which was kind. These sort of issues are out of owners control as we know well. Highly recommended though.

We recently stayed at Villa Estrella and found the experience both rewarding and a little disappointing. The villa is in a great location, close to a range of shops and restaurants. One of the standout features is the gated compound, offering a sense of security.
The interior of the villa is spacious and bright, making it a pleasant space to relax. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the entertainment system is exceptionally good, offering channels and movies in multiple languages.
The pool and heated rooftop jacuzzi were mostly enjoyable, although the pool could do with some tile repair.
However, there were some drawbacks. The lack of sufficient outdoor shade (only one small parasol; no cover on both pergolas) made it impossible to use the outside dining spaces during the day.
The property, in general, looks a bit tired and could use some TLC. Sofa covers/ curtains were stained, cushion covers had a distinct aroma of ‘unwashed hair’.
We encountered several maintenance issues, such as broken bulbs and wardrobe hinges, which took a few days to be addressed. Walls and bathroom tiles had several large cracks that had been ‘filled’ in a very rustic way with some sticky white substance.
Sadly, the garden areas were not well-maintained, with most plants appearing dead or neglected, which was a shame as the outside spaces could be really nice.
In summary, while Villa Estrella has several strong points there are also areas that need improvement.

To begin with the communication before arrval was excellent. We were sent all the information we needed before arrival including the bills number and access. I've had to chase for these with other villas in the same complex upon arrival.
There was some nice welcoming touches of tea coffee milk wine, all waiting for us when we got there.
The wifi was brilliant with very fast speeds. The tv is a very homely touch with all the uk channels you can think of. So home away from home.
The hot tub worked fantastically well and was hot on arrival and very clean.
Our only disappointment was pool heater failed upon our arrival which was completely out of hosts control. He was very sympathetic to it and did try to resolve it but unfortunately the extent of the air siurce heat pump needing changing meant couldn't be resolved for our stay. We were compensated so have no complaint with the host. Good thing is that future stayers will have a nice new heat pump on the pool.
There was some refurb work going on in villa behind but it was minimal and didn't disrupt our stay at all.
All in all i can recommend the host and management as they were helpful and did do all they could to assist. This was definitely a villa we would happily stay in again in the future.

Enjoyed our stay at the villa. Had a welcome pack at the start of our holiday which was a nice touch! Had everything we needed, was a home from home. Accommodation was bright and airy and the hot tub on the rooftop was an added bonus. Could not fault it, would recommend to anyone who wanted a relaxing day but close by to a lovely sandy beach with shallow sea if you want to venture out. Local restaurants and bars were plentiful too!

The Villa was just as described, it was clean and well equipped for self catering. The complex was really nice and the security guards always super friendly. We had a car so we’re able to get around as it was a bit of a walk into town. However there are 2 large supermarkets nearby and also a few small bars and restaurants. The property managers were easy to get hold of when we had a few questions on arrival, they even got us a paella pan so we could cook our own paella 😊 We would definitely recommend this property for a nice relaxing stay away from the noise of the busy centre. The rooftop terrace was a lovely space to sit in the morning/evening and have a coffee and watch the sunrise/sunset. You can also see the sea from up there.

We all had a great time in the wonderful villa and complex, hosts were great when we had a couple of small issues and sorted really quickly, superb hot tub, really enjoyed our stay!!!

This is an ideal property if you wish peace and quiet and your own space. Lovely pool and hot tub on the roof. There is a bar and restaurant in the resort but if you want to do your own thing there are 2 supermarkets within walking distance. There are also bars and restaurants to walk to. The town is a 40 minute walk to and taxis are readily available. Car an advantage but not necessary.

Absolutely stunning property inside a beautiful complex. Its was lovely and clean and has shops and restaurants nearby. The villa feels very private and is in a lovely and quiet area. Very spacious and lovely facilities. Communication with hosts Great too.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Estrella - the online descriptions of the villa are accurate and it's a lovely place to stay. The pool is great, temp ranging from 26 to 29 degrees (April) and the rooftop Jacuzzi was splendid luxury. Location of the villa is excellent, supermarkets in walking distance and beaches a short drive away.

The Bahiazul Resort and Spa complex where the villa is located is stunning and the facilities excellent. When we arrived outside the villa the first impression was great, consistent with all the other properties on the complex unfortunately this did not last. After entering the villa we opened the patio doors to the private pool area only to be greeted by builders working on the property attached to the rear of ours, they are fully refurbishing this property which involves the use of power tools and mixers and them working on the roof terrace over looking our pool area, the noise was as you would expect from any busy building site, I should know I work on one. We immediately complained to the management company and the villa owner only to learn from him that he knew of this work and that it had been ongoing in some form or other since December and judging by the state of the property would need at least 3 more months to complete. After 2 days of this disruption, not being able to use the villa from 8 till 4 unless you really like sunbathing next to a building site and various emails, the owner suggested we try and book another villa on the complex through Bahiazul direct and he would reimburse us the amount to cover this, which we would have to pay at the time. Luckily they did have a villa available and we moved on the Saturday, it was an identical villa to the one we had booked but what a difference, it was like chalk and cheese, this one was super modern and spotless and you suddenly realised how tired and dusty the other one was, with its broken patio furniture, cracked tiles in the shower area and generally tired appearance. The new villa even came with breakfast included in the main restaurant and free use of the spa. We have been coming to Fuerteventura for 20 years and have always stayed in villas around this area and unfortunately we would have to say that this is the only time we have been mislead and had to put up with such disruption, most definitely not a quiet relaxing start to our break.

The contact we had prior to arrival was great and very informative. When we arrived, we entered the villa and it wasn't ready for us, we made a phonecall and went to do our shopping and it had all been sorted for our return, very quick turnaround and was very clean. The villa itself is well equipped and we had no problems. The freezer needs a bit of TLC, I think the door doesn't seal well so there is a lot of excess ice. Also the hairdryer is missing a cover for the end and hair can get caught in it, and the travel cot top didn't click in properly but could still be used ok.
The location is a bit out of the town, this was great for us and we had a car and could explore the island. It is very close to 2 large supermarkets which is great for stocking up. The pool and hot tub were both clean and we used both a lot.
We really enjoyed our stay and loved the island.

The property is brilliant. I couldn't really judge from the photographs how nice the pool was, and how the house wraps around it. It is absolutely lovely and heated just enough to be very nice in winter. followed by the hot tub, it was bliss !
The one bedroom is only accessible via the pool area, but this is basically a courtyard surrounded by your house, so its no issue. All the rooms were lovely, although the inside rooms are joined.
The location is perfect - you are a long walk or a drive to Correlajo, but there are scooters also. you are right near some shops - Lidl and Mercadona, and its a lovely place for walks and runs, and you are out of town enough to feel you can avoid the madness if you want to. The house is in a resort with many other replicas, so you're all in a nice place, and has a spa ( massages highly recommended ) and a restaurant and other things we didn't try.
Clare changed linen for us during the stay and was very helpful and chatty. The barbecue was also nice to use.
just the holiday we needed, thank you so much everyone !

We had a great week in the Villa! The central point of the Villa (and the place where we spent most our our time) is the patio with the nice pool. The Villa itself has one combined living/cooking room (very warm and friendly), a guest toilet and two (three) bed rooms. To get into the second bed room, you whether need to go through the first one or use the entrance through the patio. A third bedroom is only accessable via the patio.
We liked the atmosphere very much. Just one think you need to know when planing your stay.
All three bedrooms do have a separate area with a toilet, a shower and a sink. But this area is only really separated in the first bedroom with a door. In the second and third bedroom, there is no door between the sleeping area and the washing/toilet area.
As we booked the Villa for 4 people, we used the third bedroom as bathroom.
All in one, great villa with a great patio and a nice roof top terrace. We enjoyed using the very warm and large jacuzzi there.

Had a great stay but even better if larger pool towels and were changed weekly. Bath towels too small for adults and were only changed once during our two week stay. Bedding only changed once during our stay. Pool would benefit from steps being painted different colour on edge as last step is a slope and hand rail installed. No smoke detector installed and glass doors out to pool area need stickers so it is obvious when the doors are closed we had a couple of near misses. Outside dining area needs a shaded area single parasol was inadequate. The kitchen is fully equipped which was great. Also UK tv channels was a bonus! Hot tub was lovely too. Villa outside could do with a fresh lick of paint as compared to resort villas it looks a little tired. Problem with one of the toilets which despite best efforts wasn’t resolved and showers didn’t drain properly and overflow if not careful. Fridge would work better if defrosted. The management team were very responsive and kept us up to date with the issues we raised (thank you Clare and Gavin)

Pre-visit documentation and useful information was comprehensive and clear.
The local managers were very helpful and friendly.
The location of the villa was brilliant, a car was handy to travel to other parts of the island but the supermarket was only a 5 minute walk and the bright lights of Corralejo on a €6 cab ride away.
Villa Estrella itself was ample accommodation for my friends and I, plenty of space in the 3 en-suite bedrooms and the live space internally was comfortable and ample.
Outside was perfect, both the pool area and upstairs were perfect for relaxing and entertaining…both a real sun trap.
Overall a fabulous property and we had a great time…highly recommend.

The villa had all you would need for a 2 week stay. All 3 bedrooms had en-suites with showers. It had all the amenities you would want. I think due to the sand dunes being so close the pool could do with more cleaning. The only let down was the building work next door as we weren’t aware of this. The first morning it started we were woken up at 8.30am to a really loud circular saw being used and and other building tools. This happened every other day during our stay.

Villa was really comfortable for 6 people with a lot of space. Pool and jacuzzi were perfect.
The villa is part of a hotel resort which includes a restaurant. The personal of the resort is also assisting with great effort organizing surf school or other stuff.
Two supermarkets are within 5 min walking distance.
We had a rental car which in our opinion is needed during the stay to reach different beaches. (at the sand dunes within 10 min, west coast within 20 min)
Overall we can really recommend the stay in the villa.

The online description is accurate, the beds and pillows are comfortable, the house styling is good. The wifi and TV is great. We loved the hot tub at the end of the day. The location is very convenient with 2 supermarkets 5mins walk away. It’s really quiet and peaceful. We had dinner in the restaurant twice, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, even though we were not ‘direct renters’. Ben was very responsive to email and flexible with having to change the date twice. We had a very stressless week !

Villa Estrella is a nice villa and equipped with all comforts and facilities. Everything is there, with the highlight being the lovely hot tub.
Clare and Gavin are always available for questions and emergencies.
Highly recommended for a relaxing break. Due to the enclosed location of the villa you will also not be bothered by strong winds, so you can enjoy the sun quickly.

We stayed at Villa Estrella for 2 weeks (myself, my sister and my elderly mother) and had a room each.
Communication with Ben was excellent and he was accommodating in transferring our booking from 2020 to 2021.
The villa was pretty much as described and looked the same as the photos (with a few minor exceptions, which I will detail later on).
All information provided was accurate and the welcome basket with water, milk etc was very much needed due to late arrival of flight and no shops being open. The villa was well stocked with everything you would want, plenty of plates, cutlery etc.
The bedding and towels were of an excellent quality (White Stuff) and everywhere was clean and tidy.
Aircon in lounge and all bedrooms was great, beds and sofas all comfortable.
Bedding and towels were cleaned halfway through our stay, the floors were cleaned as was the pool.
The pool could have done with a few more cleans, but we could have called and asked but weren't too bothered.
Cons - unfortunately the hot tub wasn't working as they were waiting on a replacement pump, and this did seriously effect the holiday (as this was one of the main reasons for booking) however we were offered a refund in price due to it being unavailable.
A number of tiles had fallen off from the wall of the shower in bedroom 3 (they were having trouble trying to source the same tiles)
There are pictures on the roof terrace of sun loungers, these are no longer there and the built in table and benches there are uncomfortable to sit at, we were not fit enough to carry any of the other sunbeds/chairs up, however due to the hot tub being out of action we weren't up there much anyway.
The access to bedroom 3 is only via the pool area (which we knew about) however there are no external locks on the living room patio doors, so the choice was to either leave the doors to the living room unlocked during the night or the person in bedroom 3 has no access to the villa (unless you went out via the side door into the parking area and took a front door key and accessed the villa that way, we never did as it was a bit faffy)
Not a complete disaster but something to be aware of.
There are no full length mirrors at all in the villa, which would be helpful.
All in all it was a lovely villa and we had a great time.

Aug 2021, back from a 2 week stay at this lovely villa. Booked at very short notice and had good communication with Ben, very responsive to questions and very accommodating with our requests. There were 4 of us which gave us plenty of space. Lovely lounge/diner set up, such a comfy sofa. Kitchen area a good size to work with. 2 beds within the villa, one of which you get to through the other. The 3rd bedroom is accessed via the pool area. Nice space outside by the pool and lots more room on the roof terrace to sunbath, cook, eat and relax. The gated complex of Bahiazul is pretty, with 2 supermarkets 5 minutes walk away. The security guards were very happy to help and happily ordered our regular taxis. The Reception team at Bahiazul were also very accommodating and helpful.

First of all, we’ve been renting villas for years and by far this was the worst maintained and less accurate to the pictures showed.
It’s not nice when you have paid that the property sends a message saying he changed the pool area tiles. In my opinion what was in the pictures was more beautiful than the tiles they put. So if you liked the charming of the house this new tiles is a no no.
Maintenance of the house is really poor:
- The bedrooms had no blinds (there were broken and never replaced).
- Plants in the patios were almost dead. No gardening means the cactus and plants were dried out (so sad).
- There were really big cracks on the walls of kitchen and bathrooms. This is the first property I rent in these conditions. Really.
- Lots of bugs inside and outside the property, lots of tiny ants everywhere, even on top of beds and all over our clothes, ect... My daughter had to sleep in the living room because she was scared of the bugs in her bedroom.
- The pool has a crack and the water level descends a lot in a day, so we were told to use the hose to fill the pool every day.
- The pool has a broken light bulb which was not replaced.
- The small pool tiles were also falling.
- The jacuzzi wasn’t very clean and also had some broken led lights.
- The only good point was the heated pool and the surroundings outside the villa.
Bahiazul is a nice development, but I think this villa had a below average maintenance. I would’t dare to rent a house in these conditions.

Lovely villa with a great roof top terrace.
Great villa. The pool, outside areas and roof terrace jacuzzi were lovely. The kitchen and lounge are well equipped and the villa is furnished well. Only downside for us was that not all windows had blinds in the bedrooms, only voile curtains so not very dark when the sun comes up!

The property was just as shown in the advert, spacious, well laid out, lovely pool and great jacuzzi and everything we needed to have a great holiday. Being out of season was a bonus as we missed the crowds - the villas are quite close together, however the pool area is very private. As has been noted before, it is quite a way from the town, but if we didn't fancy the walk we just called for a taxi and were in the town in minutes for Euro 5! The supermarket is just a short walk away - a fabulous fish counter and we BBQ'd a lot of fish on the roof terrace BBQ :) Dave, who looks after the property, was quick to respond when we had a couple of issues and fixed them promptly. All in all, a great holiday.

Can't fault this villa. Very comfortable in a lovely clean and friendly complex. Has all the amenities you need (including full Sky package TV with loads of other channels thrown in) as well as the fabulous hot tub – great for relaxing in with a drink at the end of the day. It’s only a short drive, or a nice half hour walk, from the main town and the nearest supermarket is only 5 minutes away (you can see it from the entrance of the complex). We had a very relaxing holiday here.

The apartment was very clean but a few issues arose during the stay. Drains in the shower in the third bedroom were backing up, meaning you had to stop the shower to avoid flooding the bathroom. The pool was dirty and you could see the mud forming on the floor. The overall pool area floor was breaking up and needs attention. We had a water leak but called the property contacts and they attended and fixed the issue very quickly. Nice villa and good location but the apartment needs some attention as it didn’t feel like good value for money based on the issues listed.

Nice Villa
This was a lovely villa and we enjoyed our stay. There were several things requiring attention like the windows blinds as half of them were not working. There were cracks in the worktop joints which little black bugs were coming through. The cleanliness of the villa was superb and the bed linen and towels smelled gorgeous. You had to be careful to make sure the fridge door was shut as it needed a good slam. The sun beds were superb but the pool area a wee bit slippy especially the stairs when wet. The pool could have done with a clean and it was cold but okay. Not sure if there is heating but it was still okay.
I would return to this villa but it just needs some minor tweaking. 😊
