This is a peaceful barndominium overlooking the Lake Hillsdale at the entrance to King's Arrow Ranch. KAR is 153 acre ranch with a lot of natural surroundings, unique structures of SCA and a stables.

This property was exactly what we needed to relax and recharge from a day in the Middle Ages. It was clean, well-appointed, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable. My only suggestion would be to add more hooks/racks for hanging clothing and towels. Thank you, Kim, for a wonderful stay!

Was notified that we were being upgraded to the hosts lake house. It was a larger place right on the lake but it was very worn and somewhat dirty. No key was given - door was left unlocked for our arrival. We only planned a quick night's rest on way to cruise so that was ok. Communication with host was quite slow as well. The barndominium was nearby and looked to be in much better shape than the lake house.
