Sehr geräumiges Haus mit getrennten Bädern. Das große Bett im EG war schön hergerichtet und eigentlich sind alle Zimmer gut.
Zur Begrüßung gab es eine Flasche Wein als Aufmerksamkeit, das ist nett.
Den Grill (Kohle) haben wir genutzt, hier ist fast alles vorhanden, was man braucht (ein Feuerzeug allerdings haben wir nicht gefunden).
Das Haus im inneren war ordentlich und sauber, den Tisch im Garten musste ich erstmal sauber machen.
In der Einfahrt konnten wir ohne extra Kosten sicher parken.
Neben dem Grill hat der Tisch nur drei Stühle, davon war einer schon defekt.
Die Spülmaschine brummt recht laut, macht aber ordentlich sauber.
Die Klimaanlage pustet kalte Luft ins Gesicht, als Europäer sind wir das nicht gewohnt, hier fehlt eine Anleitung, wie man die Lüftung ausschaltet.
Reichlich nach der Buchung kam eine Info, das Rauchen weder im Haus (klar), noch außerhalb (weniger verständlich) erlaubt ist - warum das Verbot auch Vapes ausdrücklich einschließt, haben wir nicht verstanden. Zum Glück war unser Raucher nicht mitgekommen, sodass es aber kein Problem bei der Einhaltung gab. Solche Regeln, mit teils drakonischen Strafen, sollten allerdings vor der Buchung ersichtlich sein.

The house was enough room for the six of us. And our host was very friendly and helpful. The bottom room was great for my parents my thoughts is was all about her 😅so let her think it was.

The property was ok. Nice neighborhood. Clean. I loved the house set up.
I didn’t like the steep hill for driveway. Thought it was going to knock off my front bumper. We couldn’t access the fireplace heater leaving it pretty cold downstairs. It was mid January.

I enjoyed the easy access of having a door code. Property address close to all of our destinations on the itinerary.
However, we were initially unable to enter the property because the door was extremely difficult to open and ultimately became stuck, requiring maintenance to come out and assist us. We were told that the way the door had been painted was contributing to the difficulty opening it. We also noticed areas of damaged and poorly maintained property and sent photos of the damage to the owner for documentation. Once inside, there was a strong, pungent odor throughout the home that remained for the duration of our stay. We attempted to address it by cleaning, using disinfectant spray, and opening the windows, but the smell persisted. The overall cleanliness of the home also left us uncomfortable. In fact, we were concerned about the cleanliness to the point that we did not feel comfortable enjoying the hot tub, which was one of the amenities we were looking forward to using. There were also issues with the entertainment system. Batteries were dead in three of the four remotes, and another remote was missing. We were advised to download the Roku app as a workaround, but this was not disclosed as a requirement or option in the extensive list of house rules and instructions provided before our stay. We appreciate the owner’s willingness to help, but the number of issues we encountered throughout the stay did not match the experience we expected based on the listing and the price paid. A week before the trip we asked to reschedule and were unable to. Had we’d been given the opportunity, the damages and concerns could have been fixed before our stay. I hope these concerns are addressed for future guests.
