We had a great holiday at Chalet Dori. There were lots of great things about the property. It is detached, in a quiet part of Interlaken away from the crowds, you can sit on the balcony and look at the mountains. The dog was accepted and quite at home - the garden is enclosed so perfect to let the dog out. There are laundry facilities, enough equipment in the kitchen that we were able to cook some good meals at home, a comfy sofa and a lovely dining table to sit at and eat/work. The chalet is a 10 minute walk from Interlaken Ost, a bit further to Interlaken West - we used the trains a lot on the holiday and didn't bother with the car, so it was lovely just to head out of the door in the morning, walk to the station, have a great day out in the Swiss countryside, then return to a lovely home at night - just perfect!
The property could do with some updates in places. Downstairs has been updated, but upstairs has not. The beds were not that comfortable - the mattresses were not supportive and a bit too soft/lumpy. The blinds downstairs were hanging down/come loose so looked a bit tatty. The downstairs toilet flush kept sticking. There was a continual buzzing from the wifi system that was annoying. These are all easy fixes that would make the holiday home absolutely perfect.

A ház maga nagyon barátságos, a környék csendes, nyugodt. Jól felszerelt, részben felújított ingatlan. A fekvése is remek, a hegyekre jó a kilátás. A városközpont 10 perc gyalogosan.
Egy kicsit retró hangulatú az emelet és a faszerkezet miatt erős a nyikorgás valamint az áthallás a helyiségek között. De bőven kezelhető mértékű.

In a nice location, lots of space, really clean, drying room was useful, the owner was so helpful and attentive.
Missing window blind from downstairs bathroom. socket not working in small bedroom. No mirror in second double bedroom, these were only minor issues.

Spacious property with good parking and access to outdoor space. Convenient for groceries, access to public transport and routes by car out to the mountains. Scenic views from the balcony in a calm, safe and generally quiet neighbourhood. We cooked 3 dinners at the chalet and appreciated that there were some provisions such as cooking oil, salt and pepper provided. The welcome beers and chocolate were a nice touch too. Check-in and check-out processes were very straightforward and the video Jeanette provided in advance was helpful. Interhome were prompt in sending our Interlaken passes which gave us access to free local public transport and some discounts in return for the city tax. We enjoyed the pizzeria 2 mins walk away too!
The single room has an old style spring bed frame which proved uncomfortable. One of the mattresses was very soft foam which we felt needed replacement. All pillows very soft. There is a bell tower nearby which chimes every 15 mins which disturbed our sleep.
