BEWARE! Hazards in this home—Potentially to collect insurance money?

Good location, nice neighbourhood and friendly staff

I noticed there was an unpleasant smell in the home as I entered for the first time. The property manager told me it was most likely from the cleaning products. I didn’t use the hand towels but they were discoloured and need replacing. Also, the rug in the living room is dusty and needs to be washed or aired out. Hanging frames are not secured and held up by command strips. This caused a picture frame hanging in the bathroom to fall at 3am, knocking the pipe from the wall and causing a flood in the home. What a disaster it was!! Everyone was frantic. Our shoes, suitcases of clothes, my 4 month old baby’s car seat, play pen, amongst other things were getting wet. I was on the phone with the property manager as he was trying to direct me what to do. I was literally outside in bushes trying to find the pipes to turn off the water supply. What a damper on my vacation! Thankfully, a guardsman came over to help and the property manager came to clean up the water. The host, Andrea took absolutely no accountability and placed blame elsewhere. In her words, “the frame was tampered with” and she would not reimburse me for the disruption that occurred the final night of my stay. After I complained to booking.com she went as far as telling them that I did not follow her policies and this is what caused the flooding in her home. I was even sent a bill for nearly $600usd. I don’t know which policy was not followed when we were all in bed at 3am sleeping when this frame fell from the wall. Good thing I am a light sleeper since my baby was with me. Had I not woken, this could have been a fatal situation. An electrical fire could have started because the water would not stop running. I don’t know if this was a ploy to make an insurance claim for water damage but something seems fishy to me.

It was an excellent stay. The home is close to many restaurants and the town of Negril.

The beach and pool was on-site so very private and quiet.

Beautifully designed to ensure total relaxation as soon as you walked through the door

The fact that our host gave us the privacy and reassurance that we needed.

The peace and quiet and the fact that our host was very approachable and readily available.

Beautiful, well kept property. Fantastic host & property manager. Loved the little touches of food menu & coffee book tables.

The noise in master bedroom from main road & need bigger towels.

We were on vacation to celery birthday in Negril. from the moment we arrived our property manager was exception Tavaughn

I loved the location on the 7 mile beach. I could have my day at the beach or the pool provided by the little Bay County Club. I also , liked having a balcony off of my bedroom to go and sit in the evening. Anywhere I wanted to go nothing was too far to get too. The property is quiet and the grounds are very well kept. The property has security 24hours which is very good.

What’s not to like !! This is just a wonderful setting.

It was beautiful !!!! The home is well kept , clean and stocked with hose essentials…. The grounds are well kept pool area and beach are very nice with longe chairs and all … good for families and small groups ..

the water pressure in the complex drops at night but works

A great value overall quick access to 7 mile beach, private beach is small and not contiguous with the rest of the main

New and modern appliances, Both washer a d dryer on site, large bathtub excellent AC in every room

Small full size bed, anf two twins a queen or king in both bedrooms would have been better

One of the best 4 day getaway ever.

Great Location, very easy to get around. Very close to multiple restaurants including Rick's Cafe. Next to the RIU Hotel. Host was very helpful. He was able to suggest a driver, he alsp recommended a chef to come in and prepare breakfasts, we had dinners at the nearby restaurants.

Only wished the had a Sauna or Hot Tub next to the pool.

This home was beautiful and clean with access to the most beautiful private beach!

The private beach in this compound may be one of the prettiest beaches I have even been to. It was secluded and never crowded.

Access to restaurants was not easy. We found out as we were leaving that there is a guy who will deliver food and on a certain day of the week there is a produce delivery. If we could have had that contact info would have made our good experience but better
