Great location.
We were double-charged for VAT tax, cleaning fee, and City taxes. The total price shown on Booking.com is not the final price even though it said the final price included all the taxes and fees. You click "submit" right under the final price, but then Wynwood (the management company in Mexico City) added an additional $230 to the final price. Wynwood just kept saying the price was correct no matter how many ways I asked for an explanation and itemized receipt. We've submitted a fraudulent charge complaint to our credit card company. As for the house, there were pros and cons. It was an excellent location - basically on Avenida Amsterdam. Really great. The cleaning could have been a little better. They need to steam clean the sofa. There were contact lenses all over that someone had plucked out of their eyes and just flicked on the floor. The washer was in child-lock mode and we tried everything to unlock it. Reached out to the management company and they said they'd get right back to us and never did. I had planned on doing some laundry during our stay, so that put a wrench in things and I had to find a laundromat. Not that big of a deal, but not ideal. And finally, the guest bedroom windows do not open so it was a little stuffy at night. So yeah, maybe if you go directly to Wynwood and book the unit, you won't get charged twice for the taxes and fees. And then if you are willing to put up with looser management/cleanliness for the great location, you'll have a perfectly fine time. The beds and baths were quite clean.
