THINGS TO KNOW This property is managed by Vacasa Alabama LLC. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. We had a nice time on the island and this house was very comfortable! Next time wer come down we will keep it in mind especially if we have the fur babies with us. The deck has a gate with a latch that will be great for sitting outside with the dogs enjoying that beautiful sunrise!

First of all, this really is a great location. The house is older and so are the fixtures, but it was fine. My problem was more with the cleaning/management company. Upon arrival, the floors were covered in sand. I know this is the beach, but obviously they hadn’t cleaned well. The sheets/beds also had sand in them. The towels and sheets were all stained and very rough. They were also lacking some basic amenities (hair dryer, working TV remotes). The TVs used streaming services, so we couldn’t watch any college football in Alabama on a Saturday. Some simple improvements and it would have been much better.

The house is so close to the beach, only a short walk to the water! The house was in great condition for our arrival. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essential cookware. The bath had plenty of towels. We had a great experience.

So many good thing about this rental… location to the beach is walking distance, bright and cheery interior, spacious and well stocked kitchen. Several things could be improved upon. There are no towel racks or toilet paper holders in either bathroom. The closet doors and door to laundry area need fixing as they were extremely difficult to open or close; there are big holes in the screens so opening windows allows bugs to come in. It would have been nice to have a broom inside as coming in from parking your car you get sand on your shoes that sticks even after wiping shoes on the doormat. A starter of coffee pods, salt and pepper would have been welcoming. We appreciated the tank of gas for barbecuing! Overall, it was a good find and we would return. Thank you!

Nice, updated property close to beach. We enjoyed our stay. Management doesn’t reply to messages quickly so if it’s something important you might want to try and call. Otherwise a nice stay.
