Good enough for NYC, not so for most other places.

Near the trains and a highway, but it was quite silent, and having public transportation around is a big advantage. We found out that there were some things left (from the owners or the previous guests, we don't know) that were quite convenient: coffee k-cups, some milk, a small bottle of avocado oil, salt, sugar... Being NYC, it was a good deal but...

It was not clean enough. There were some things missing: a frying pan, glasses and cups for 4 people (there were just 3 of each), some silverware and kitchen bowls, and some light bulbs. There was no toaster either. The two rooms were separated by a curtain, wich gave little privacy.

Poor

Not much. Happy Indian family living above, so joy of gathering, kids play and trains during night can make an atmosphere. Maybe it`s not relevant, but I got severe eye allergy on those mattresses, couldn`t open my eyes.

First of all it is NOT a two-bed apartment, so false informations are not to be given, especially in delicate situations. Not all can share one small room, sleep there and have their intimacy, like in nuclear Indian families. Or on Rajasthani roof when 5 generations climb on the top to get some fresh air to be able to sleep, independently on snoring and releasing other noices. Guess only minority of people need actually peace and a wax ear plug to try to sleep. Guess sleeping has different meaning in different cultures. The basement space has just one room. It is a basement apartment. Host is unreliable, promised airport transfer then forgot. The apartment is certainly not 1 minute from La Guardia, not even with teleport. I suggest to the young host to hire someone more professional if he wants to keep his little business running. Because reviews are public, so you can claim just once that you offer a two-bed apartment, whereas you offer a basement with shared space. Other unprofessional issues we discussed. My IQ (stand for coefficient of intelligence) is 170, so Uber price in last 10 minutes works elsewhere, in Sandalwood land, but with really sound people, no. Respect peoples intelligence, not all are like Indians, where average IQ of population is 60.
