We realized after the first night that our door did not lock. It was fixed, but then it was left open again after cleaning the next day. Breakfast is just a waffle maker. The staff was nice. It seemed clean

Front desk knew I had asked for first floor and went out of his way to accommodate and also give me a room close to parking and by the back door since I had a dog. Wonderful experience!!

The walls were paper thin so i could hear everything. Some people were outside my window and they were very loud. I called the front desk but no one answered.

Hair and dirt on bedsheets, obviously hasn’t been cleaned. Didn’t dare try and examine the rest of the room. Front desk attendant asleep at 4 when I came down to have my card magnitized when it wasn’t working, as evidenced by snoring so loud you could hear it from the elevator. Extremely poor experience.

When I have a Do not Disturb sign on my door thats what it means. While I was gone somebody came into my room. They replaced towels. They should not even be knocking on the door let alone entering. Also refrigerators did not work, alarm clock was so bad it was unpluged.

The hosts were nice and friendly. Room was small, but it was very clean and nicely priced. . The problem I had is the very strong smell of cury or uunsi (not 100% sure what it is called) when I walked in the front door. This smell is not pleasant to me and has gave me head aches. Then when I got to the room the smell was in there to but not as bad. I opened window to air out room and it did get better. If the smell was not a problem for me, I would have gave it a much better review.

They should really invest in new bed linen. It's so old and worn out, which just isn't comfortable. Our bed sheets had stains in it. They were washed, but it was just something that wouldn't wash out. I don't think the Wyndham should be connecting their name to this, it's not up to standards.

The check-in staff were pleasant, but unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of our experience at the property. The room itself was quite average and left much to be desired. We had to request additional towels as there were not enough provided for the number of people in our party. Furthermore, both the towels and sheets were discolored and stained, which was quite off-putting. The room had an unpleasant odor, and to make matters worse, the toilet was leaking, causing water to spread all over the floor. Despite notifying the staff about the issue, they took no action to resolve it, so we resorted to wrapping a towel around the base ourselves. Even when the towels were changed the next morning, they were left on the floor around the toilet, and once again, there were not enough provided. Additionally, the shower had mold accumulating in the corners, which was quite unsanitary. The state of the room was so disappointing that we didn't even bother with breakfast at the property, even though it was supposed to be offered, as we couldn't fathom eating there. Given the chance, we would have definitely sought accommodations elsewhere. As a result of this experience, we have decided to never stay at another Wyndham Microtel again.

Walls are paper thin & can hear everything from other rooms. Killed about 10 bugs in the bathroom and a ladybug on the wall above the bed. First non-smoking room they gave us stunk like smoke so they had to move us to another room. Sheets had blood stains on them and weren't white but beige.

The lobby was clean. I didnt like that when we got to our room, and checked our beds the sheets appeared to be used not clean. The bathtub was dirty. The toilet paper roll was crumpled. When i reported this to front desk staff, all he said was they change sheets everyday. But he did give me new sheets that i had to put on the bed. I feel for the price of the room at $102 this is not okay.

After flying a red eye and arriving into MN at 5:45am, i went to check in at 4pm. All I wanted to do was take a shower. There was a big crack in the bottom of the tub which wouldve allowed the water to go all enderneath the tub. They couldnt give me another room until the next day at 3pm. I was alone but they upgraded me to a suite. I was alone and the suite waa no upgrade. When i checked out i said I should not have to pay full price for the 1st night stay. I was told since i was upgraded they considered that making us even. That was awful and i will be contesting the charges with American Express and now I dont want to pay for any of the 3 nights

Paper thin walls. Person in room next to us must have been the overnight hotel employee. From 11:00 pm until 7:00 am, he was talking and going in and out of room and the door would slam shut. Charged $15/night for pet even though not listed on any website including Microtel website. Will not be staying there again.

My bedding was dirty and stained up with blood or juice. Dirt and hair was in the bedding upon pulling the blanket back. The informed the front desk and he brought me sheets for me to change it and no clean blanket.

It's like time forgot this hotel and whoever owns this hotel definitely doesn't care about actually keeping it in decent repair. The hinges on the cabinets in the suite are very dilapidated. The cleanliness of the bathroom was deplorable and if you have a coffee maker in the room, maybe it would be good to have cups for the coffee. Also, the towels are beyond tattered and have seen much better days and the cleanliness of the bed almost made us go straight back home which was not the point of why we got a hotel in the first place

The staff I talked with were very friendly and helpful. My room was clean & it was quiet. Mankato is a nice town. My only complaint is the continental breakfast is very scarce. Very limited choices of things to eat. Would be nice to have fresh fruit, protein bars, individual boxes of cereal & cartons of milk instead of a pitcher, hard boiled eggs are just a few I can think of to add a little more and also nice to grab and go when in a hurry.
