Standard Japanese-style room but the futons were excellent—possibly the most comfortable of our whole trip. The public bath was very good. Location is the real selling point: the coastal trail loops right around the hotel (Anegasaki, roughly an hour, cliffs and seabird colonies) and it's a short drive to Jodogahama. Buffet dinner had a huge selection and the AC, though dated, worked well.
The buffet is served in a very large, busy hall—plenty of choice, decent quality, but it feels more like a canteen than a proper dinner, and it wasn't the best food we had on this trip. Value for money is on the weak side: we've stayed in better places for less.
