About this house rental
Beautiful new home with a rustic feel, but modern amenities, located on 5 acres along the Green River with the Book Cliffs as a stunning backdrop. With Moab, Goblin Valley and the San Raphael Swell all a short drive away, this is the perfect home base for your southern Utah adventures without the crowds and neighbors. Just a couple miles north of town towards the cliffs and surrounded by farm land, you’ll love spending your days hiking, dirt biking, horseback riding, four-wheeling and more before coming home to your quiet, comfy riverfront oasis. Whip up some dinner in the large stocked kitchen or cook hotdogs over the fire under the clear dark skies for the some of the best star gazing imaginable. Don’t forget the marshmallows for the fire pit where you can recall the day’s adventures with friends and family. When the sun rises over the Green River each morning, you won’t even have to leave your bed to watch the way it turns the cliffs to fiery red.
Green River was recently recognized as the best small town in Utah and we have to agree! Part of our property is farmed for watermelons in the summer and don’t pass up stopping at one of the melon stands in town. You’ll see why this amazing little town is famous for its Melon Days festival every year. It has its own treasures such as Crystal Geyser, Blue Castle and the John Wesley Powell museum—but is also central to countless both famous and lesser known desert wonders. We definitely recommend hitting up the street tacos and grabbing a giant cinnamon roll at the Tamarisk restaurant. But you can get groceries and other items you might need just 5 minutes away in town. Interstate 70 is very easy to access and day trips to the parks and local public lands are a must. We’ll make you a list of our favorite areas, but no doubt you’ll find your own as well!
Please note that this is a brand new home and we have several projects in the works including an additional patio, landscaping, grass, fencing and river clearing for water sports. We’re excited to see our vision come to life over the next year or two and hope you’ll come back and enjoy it again!

This was my send time staying here and it’s awesome! Very clean and comfortable. Out in the country, but still very close to town. Would highly recommend this house!

We stayed at this property for our hiking vacation and it did not disappoint! We had been researching places to stay within a drive of Arches NP and Canyonlands NP. Most of the places were in Moab on or off Main Street, but we wanted something more off the beaten path that was serene and quiet. This is that place! The location, directly on the Green River, is spectacularly beautiful. Bonus points that during our stay we got to see geese with their babies at the shore of the river. The next to last morning we got to see a huge deer bound through the property. What a treat! The home is beautiful with everything you need for a home away from home. The kitchen has all the necessary supplies if you like cooking. And although we were only 2 people in our party, this home easily accommodates a larger family. The location was perfect for us. We were about an 1 1/4 hours from Arches NP and about 1 1/2 hours from Canyonlands. Also a short drive to Capitol Reef NP, which we also visited during our stay. I cannot begin to tell you how quiet this location is, which was perfect for people like us who don't want to stay in a congested area with lots of night life. The communication from our host was excellent and the book inside the home had all the important instructions for the home as well as some helpful hiking and sight seeing tips along with maps of the various parks. Super helpful! If you're looking for a serene place to stay this is that place!

Nicely outfitted property with a beautiful view of the Green River and surrounding bookcliffs. Firepit outside was awesome to enjoy the starry evenings! Comfy beds, living area/dining table a little tight for 4 guys, but we made it work with all of the outdoor space. Nice big kitchen with most things you would need to cook a great dinner. We found it a little odd that a Propane Fired BBQ grill was not supplied.....but overall this is a great place and plenty of stuff to keep you busy in the outdoors.
