The hot tub was FOR SURE the best part! We loved the quaintness of the accommodation! The little cottage is adorable. The owners seemed very caring, leaving little notes reminding you to check all drawers and whatnot to make sure nothing is left behind. The scenery is gorgeous! We were greeted by deer (and one armadillo!) every morning and evening. There’s a full kitchen and a large fridge for groceries. The neighboring properties are a decent length away. The bed was comfortable as well.
My plumber husband didn’t love the water pressure, but it didn’t bother me too much. The shower could have been a bit cleaner for me as there was an evident orange mildew in certain spots along with some hair. It’s 10 minutes away from downtown Fredericksburg, which isn’t too terrible as uber was still able to find us. I’m not sure if the price was necessarily worth it, but we enjoyed our stay overall!
