The accommodations were awesome!! The breakfast basket placed at our door every morning were adorable!! Truly enjoyed our stay and definitely will be going back again. Made our 1st Anniversary memorable with the romance package my husband surprised me with. It was beautiful and a lovely experience ❤️

It was a beautiful property that was very comfortable

We truly appreciated the privacy that the cabins allow. It was refreshing to sleep in and still have our room serviced.

The cottages and setting were lovely but we felt we were penalised for staying here Mon/Tuesday at their cheaper rate. Check-in was instructions stuck to a door, although almost all cottages were empty we were put in the one by the staff/deliveries car park, our first breakfast had no pastry and no contact was made by a a single person there. We had a problem and had to go to the shop for help as reception was locked. The lady in the shop couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful.

We had a great experience. The breakfast baskets we so adorable, the restaurant was delicious, and the spa was amazing! Can’t wait to book the next stay and Herb Garden! We we definitely be back!

Very nice property

We just got back and are thinking about when we can go back. Loved the quite cozy feel.loved the spa and the staff.

The property itself was very nice. I loved the atmosphere and it was well kept. The staff was sweet. We didn’t get to try the restaurant but the breakfast basket in the morning was cute and charcuterie board was nice. The room was nice but the bed was the worst bed we have ever slept on. It was so hard even my husband woke up sore. We also had a mix up with the spa services. We booked a couples massage for our anniversary over the phone. Before we got there they called and said one of our therapists were ill and they would try to rebook which they did but they split the couples massage and but didn’t explain that on the phone. So when one of us didn’t show up to the original appointment they called us. After explaining that it was suppose to be a couples massage we ended up cancelling the entire appointment altogether. Luckily they didn’t charge us a cancellation fee.

The property was well-maintained, and the property owner was the sweetest lady! I surprised my boyfriend for his birthday and she gave us a little sweet treat. In addition, the room was so comfortable, super clean and tidy, and it was the perfect ambiance for us to just relax and get away for a day! I especially loved the bed, comforter, and pillows, lol. Breakfast was delivered promptly the next morning in front of our door and it everything was healthy.

The property was great, very clean and quiet. The only thing that was disappointing was that the restaurant and services were closed when we got there on Sunday and also on Monday. The continental breakfast was delivered timely but we had no choices to pick options. We were not able to eat specific items due to health reason and dietary restrictions. Other then that, we loved the cottage and the room was very cozy and pleasantly setup. The only issue we had was that the AC unit is placed in a place that blows cold air directly over the bed. Overall we loved this place.

The property is situated in a quiet neighborhood. The cottages are large enough for two people to live comfortably. The bathrooms provide everything for freshening up. The air conditioning is superior and is more than adequate to combat the heat. Downtown Fredericksburg is less than 5 minutes away via automobile.

Hill Country Herb Garden is the perfect hill country getaway! The property is gorgeous and well kept, the restaurant is beautiful and delicious, and the cottages are the perfect size for two. Breakfast being delivered to our door and the rocking chairs on the patio were the cherry on top. Highly reccomend!

We loved it here and will be back !! I am telling all my friends and family to come here. The food was awesome and the spa was the best i have ever been too.

The most charming cottages ever! Super clean, all of the amenities and food & wine right there! Unfortunately, we were not able to eat in the restaurant and enjoy 50% off the wines for Happy Hour, because they were closed for a private party. They did not let us know about the closure, until we showed up for Happy Hour and a sign was posted. I think their communication needs to improve. Although we were very disappointed about this, we would stay again!

Loved staying at this venue! Very cute cottages and layout and my wife loved the weekend we spent there and the hand delivered breakfasts each mory. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only downside was the extremely strong smell of peppermint when we first arrived. We had to open the doors and turn on all of the fans, as the odor was quite strong and my wife was very sensitive to it. Other than that, loved our stay and will definitely be back!

I loved how all the cottages were different. You had your own space not connected to anyone. The whole staff was absolutely amazing and very friendly. Their toiletries products made on-site was absolutely fabulous. I would definitely recommend bf this to any couple wanting to get away for a romantic weekend. Scenery of sprinting areas was gorgeous as well.

This is my new favorite place so far in Fredericksburg! Cute immaculate cottages inside and out with all the amenities you could want for a comfortable relaxing stay. The grounds welcome you to walk, sit, swing, or eat to enjoy the weather here. We only got to enjoy a delicious drink at their bar but we will definitely be back for the restaurant and spa. I’m already looking forward to my next stay here!
