Alpine Point lodge has everything your heart could desire and then some. THE SPACE 4 miles to the Great Smoky Mountain park entrance and 3 miles to Gatlinburg downtown, the location is unbeatable with spectacular hiking trails, skiing at Ober, whitewater rafting, restaurants, shopping and more! Be immersed in privacy, nature and an absolutely wonderful feeling of being in a cabin perched on a hill. THE INTERIOR SPACE The Alpine Chalet is an authentic log cabin. It is a huge (over 3700+ square feet) cabin but feels surprisingly cozy. It sleeps 18 people. It has an old world charm to it. If you are expecting a perfect modern home with newer finishes, it might not be the home for you. If you are looking for a rustic cabin in the woods, this is the one cabin for you! Your group can soak your cares away in the hot tub while enjoying the peace and quiet of the Great Smoky Mountains or just relax in one of the many rockers and take in the view. The great room entrance has lots of space for a group to be able to gather around the cozy fireplace and TV. There is even room for 18 people to dine together, & whatever you need to take care of hungry folks is found in the spacious kitchen. We also provide an assortment of spices, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar, creamer Bathroom - Shampoo, soap, conditioner, hand soap, towels, toilet paper PETS Our home is pet friendly! We kindly request a $150 flat fee per pet. Two dogs max please. If you bring your dog, we request that you supervise them while outside - our home is in a forest and there is wildlife around. DRIVE to the CABIN The drive to the cabin is breathtaking, you will drive thru' windy roads with views of the Great Smoky Mountains. Please drive with caution. DRIVEWAY We are perched on a hill, so the driveway is a bit steep. That said, you will do fine with a 2-wheel or 4-wheel drive. We can easily fit upto 5-6 cars CHALET VILLAGE OWNERS CLUB You will have access to 3 exclusive clubs located in Chalet Village, Alpine Clubhouse, South Clubhouse and North Clubhouse with amenities such as pools, tennis courts and much more. Other things to note *SAFETY PROTOCOLS* You'll be in the mountains and so nature-related elements are inevitable like weather and wildlife. You may lose power if there is a snowstorm/fallen trees, etc. and might see bears from time to time. Please do follow all the safety protocols. *INTERNET* The cabin is in a rural area. While cellular internet is generally good and reliable, weather patterns might affect connectivity and speed from time to time. *TRAVEL INSURNACE* Travel insurance is highly recommended to help cover you for situations such as unforeseen cancelations, weather related issues, etc.

We enjoyed our visit in Tennessee. Large home, lots of bears in our neck of the woods. Everyday we had them. They were great. Like the listing states, it is not a modern house, but it was clean, close to GATLINBURG, and we had lots of room to spread out. We used the theater every night. It was awesome. The owner was very quick to respond to questions. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

First time ever using Vrbo to rent a place to stay at for vacation and I am thankful how smooth it went. The host was absolutely nice to me, considering she let me and my friends rent this cabin when we are all 21 and 22! Some cabins and host wouldnt let us because of our age. The cabin was stunning, we didnt want to leave at all the whole time we where there! I really recommend getting this cabin for your vacation or whatever you are renting it for!

The house was beautiful just as it looked in the pictures ! The house sits surrounded by trees which makes the views even more exciting ! Check in was easy and so was check out. The house rules are simple to follow and pretty spot on! It’s more than enough space and you are still secluded even with the condos that sit to the right , we didn’t even notice the complex when outside enjoying ourselves . Now we didn’t see a seasoning spice rack in the kitchen as explained on website and little things of that nature that weee modding or inaccurate but when you contact the host they were there to help fix any issue you spoke to them about which is always a good thing ! I would stay again

Checkin is a breeze the host is very communicative and the instructions were very thorough. The chalet isn’t brand new with modern finishes but the space greatly offsets that! The bedrooms are all very spacious and have very well appointed bathrooms. The pool table was great, our family had a blast! There’s plenty of room to spread out with the three story decks and lots of rocking chairs. The view is really great and the big windows at the back are the perfect way to soak it all in. As I mentioned the host is very attentive, and checked in on us several times so you can expect to be assured your trip will be enjoyable!
