Miscommunication on the first day, host didn't send the code to access the property...

We drove for over four hours with our children, expecting to stay at the place that we rented and paid for. That never happened. The listed property manager didn't realize this property was still listed. I was given the new property manager and she was extremely rude. She didn't even know we had booked the room for the night! After multiple phone calls, she finally gave us the code to enter. The code didn't work and the only resolution given was to "wiggle the numbers on the lockbox". Obviously, that did not work. Having a background in real estate, I am extremely knowledgeable of how to properly operate a lock box. The manager offered zero assistance and then evaded the phone calls from VRBO. I am still awaiting my refund and ended up driving until 2:00 a.m. to get my family back home. It was a disaster and I would NEVER recommend to anyone! Plus, the neighborhood was really sketchy, filthy and had trash all over the streets and sidewalks. No love for their own community!

Reasonable and well located Temple of Hip Hop had a great stay during Hip Hop Appreciation Week 2023

The place was nice. Got confused with the codes. But other then that the place is exactly how you see it. I would def stay again!!
