To start on the positive note: it’s a very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood, surrounded by vineyards and olive tree gardens, there’s pool (billiards) in the reception that everyone can use and a nice “picnic” area with a great view behind the house, with two sun lounges. The lady, Olga, who welcomed us was very helpful and kind (and waited for us patiently even though we were late). Unfortunately, that’s all the positives. We stayed for four nights in Scuderie apartment, two adults and two teenagers. The place is dark! (don’t believe the photos!) There’s no sunlight as all the windows are facing the wall of the building opposite (and open into the street) and the apartment is on the ground floor. The bigger bedroom has no curtains and there are internal shutters so you either leave the window open for some air and make the inside visible to everyone walking down the street or keep it shut but dark and without any fresh air. The kitchen…for four people we had three mugs, one teaspoon (the other one was rusty), one table knife (to spread butter) and two bowls (if everyone would like to have cereal for breakfast, you have to share it). There’s no kitchen cloth or towel to dry hands, we had to use one of our bath towels. There was hardly any coffee in the tin, no tea, however, there’s salt and sugar. There is WiFi and it sometimes works but ONLY in the kitchen, hall and the bigger bedroom. Nowhere else. The bathrooms: there was hot water, however, very unstable supply, but there was hardly any ventilation; one of the bathrooms didn’t even have a window which opens. Some towels were eaten by moths. The bedrooms: the bigger one was fine by size, but don’t put anything in the wardrobe - it stinks terribly (just as all the kitchen cupboards). The smaller bedroom has NO space for luggage at all and it’s a bit stuffy - there is a window but it opens straight into the street and there are no bars when opened (so it’s weird leaving it open at night).
