Situated in Smith Mountain Lake, this lovely house for $412 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. You owe it to yourself to make lifetime memories at “Peace of Paradise”. Spend a week at this spacious lake house and enjoy the beautiful wide water views across from undeveloped Smith Mountain Lake State Park. Three bedrooms, and two extra beds in the basement office provide plenty of room for multiple guests, as well as private space to unwind. In addition to private sleeping accommodations on all three levels of this home, there are full baths on all three levels. Our guests will spend their days swimming, floating, fishing, boating, and relaxing on the no- wake zone lake, all the while working up an appetite for a dinner expertly prepared on the gas grill, and in the fully stocked kitchen. Watch your favorite shows with Wi-fi and smart TV’s, with comcast cable in the main level family room, both bedrooms on the main level, as well as the basement level rec room. Have fun in the rec room playing pool, foosball and board games. Bask in the sun with the wrap- around deck, or lounge in the shade with the under deck patio. Centrally located at R22, this immediate lake area has tons of room for water skiing, tubing and wakeboarding without feeling crowded by other boats or narrow coves. We are within Walking five minutes to the Virginia Dare Marina for a cold beverage, good food, live music, and an opportunity to gas up the boat. Wrap up your day by roasting marshmallows at the fire pit and sitting on the deck to stargaze. Our family has been making memories at our lake house for years. We are excited to hear about the rest, relaxation and fun you have at our lake house!

Highly recommend this property for any season! The property was exactly as described. It was very clean and well stocked. The host was extremely helpful and responsive to the few minor questions and issues we had, even though it was Christmas weekend! Great docks, terrific stone fireplace inside and firepit outside, wonderful neighborhood.

We really enjoyed our vacation here. We would vacation in this home again. It is well, equipped, clean, beautiful view, and lots of natural light. It was an ideal spot for all of our fun activities… Biking, hiking, kayaking, and dog walking. The owner, Anne was very responsive.

Our family of 4 (two toddlers) really enjoyed our stay in this home located on a quiet cove. The house was clean and had more than enough room for us. The views from the main living area were beautiful. We enjoyed fishing and paddle boarding off the dock, roasting s’mores in the fire pit, and doing puzzles on a rainy day. A beautiful spot to see all the stars at night!! The host was very responsive to any question we had. We hope to stay again!

Our host, Anne was great from the first to the last contact and made the entire process of booking so easy to complete. It's increasing difficult for our family to spend time in one place, but when I told our boys where my wife and I were going, all three made time to join us. My family and I could not have picked a better house or location on the lake to stay. The house was extremely clean with crisp linens on each bed and clean towels waiting. The interior is very spacious with plenty of room for everyone to relax with the game room downstairs witnessing some epic family pool matches that reminded my adult kids of when they were young. The outside deck is large and was my favorite spot to drink my morning coffee looking at the lake. We rented a 24 ft. tri-toon and enjoyed cruising, fishing and swimming in the lake. The boat dock made docking very easy and convenient. I highly recommend Peace of Paradise in Moneta, VA and our host Anne. I know my family and I will be going back very soon. Not many places can exceed your expectations, but this house on Smith Mountain Lake certainly did for us.

Beautiful property on a quiet cove, favorite parts: spacious, well built dock with chairs and table for hanging out. Water was clean, the perfect temp and best of all you can dive off the dock- very deep! Boat traffic was busy on the lake (Labor day weekend, so was expected). Overall the house had everything we needed for our long weekend with friends - view from the deck is phenomenal & star gazing at night was great w no light pollution ✨ Will definitely return to this property, Anne was a joy to communicate with!

Although Anne was fantastic the house was quite a disappointment. When we arrived the house had not been cleaned, apparently, there was a miscommunication with the cleaning crew.. depends on who you ask. It looked like the outside furniture had never been cleaned. All of the furniture in the house was very old and worn. There were very few dishes and what dishes were there were very old, for example, all of the measurements on the measuring cup had worn off. The grill burners were old and cooked unevenly, not sure the last time it had ever been cleaned either. You could not use the glass doors to get onto the deck they were so old. This was our first family vacation in 7 years, I was so dissapointed

House is wonderful, view of the water is great. Anne was so nice and gave lots of good suggestions from where to rent a boat, where to get groceries, restaurants to try and things to do in the area.

The whole experience was great. The property is very nice and it's much better than what the pictures show. Anne was responsive and helped with any questions we had. Lots of room , well equipped, great views of the lake and quiet neighborhood.

Easy transaction, from the beginning to the end of our week long stay, very responsive to inquiries. Very clean and linens were provide.Extra touch of toiletries were also provided just in case you forgot to pack something.Picture as describe and more. Plenty of storage. If you like waking up to the lake and mountain view every morning, and enjoying sunset at dinner time , this is the place for you. Would definitely return to this property.
