Wenn man selten zuhause ist und die Wohnung nur zum Schlafen nutzt, ist es okay.

Die Aussicht ist sehr schön.

Die Bilder sind leider etwas irreführend. Das Haus ist in einem baulich schwierigen Zustand. Elektrik nicht belastbar, dadurch kann man Heizung und Klimaanlage letztlich nicht benutzen. Wifi funktioniert leider nicht. Wasserab- und Zufluss in der Küche leckt. Im Winter ist die Wohnung sehr kalt.

Pleasant but we ate food out all the time.

Poor dog had to be closed in his cage all the time and barking and It was not fair at all. Kitchen facilities were not ok and water in the sink kept pouring out every time we used. We couldn’t use the dishwasher at all because there was no dishwashing tablet or powder.

Man braucht Pfadfindergeist und Campingerfahrung und gute Nerven um in diesem Haus zu wohnen.

Der Blick über die Buch von Izmir ist sehr schön. Das Viertel ist ein armes Viertel, leerstehende Häuser, Häuserruinen, vielen frei laufende Katzen und Hunde (nicht gefährtlich!) Die Nachbarn waren freundlich. Die durch kein Geländer gesicherte steile Wendeltreppe im Haus ist gefährlich. Haus und Viertel ist nicht geeignet für Familien mit kleinen Kindern (im Viertel viele unebene Treppen, Rutschgefahr bei Nässe, kaum möglich mit Kinderwagen.)

Die Ignoranz der Vermieter. Ich bekam einen falschen Keycode. Es war sehr umständlich, und nur mit Hilfe der Nachbarn möglich ins Haus zu kommen. Unter der angegebenen Telephonnummer kam nur ein Tonband auf Türkisch. Die Vermietung ist nicht professionell und nicht unterstützend. Das Schloss zum Vorgarten war abgerissen und die Türfalle kaputt, das heisst jeder konnte in den Vorgarten kommen. Auch auf wiederholte Mails wurde die Tür nicht repariert.

We left the apartment just after a few minutes. The photos posted on Booking do not reflect the poor conditions of the apartment and its surroundings. Access to the apartment is absolutely critical because of a very narrow street which our car could not enter. The cleaning of the apartment was definitely below minimal standards. A very unpleasant smell of humidity pervaded the apartment. The three floors of the apartment are connected by so steep and narrow steps to make their use dangerous. The backyard, which has to be passed through when going from the first to the second floor, was dirty and occupied by animals. Second, the apartment is located in a degraded quarter. The surrounding buildings are abandoned and precarious. Even the building of the apartment looks unstable and has been subject to a very partial restoration. Last, but not least, when entering the apartment we were assaulted by a group of teenagers from a neighboring building. They started throwing stones and pieces of wood against us. Maybe, they had some quarrel with the owner of the apartment. We felt in danger, and this was the final episode that convinced us that staying in the apartment was impossible. We asked the owners for reimbursement, but we could hardly get an answer. They not even considered our request and replied to us as if we were occupying the apartment.

Place . It’s not easy to find it. Pictures not like the reality. One room without windows. Stairs between floors very hard to go with.

I must say, the location of this flat is simply perfect for exploring İzmir. With the Clock Tower, the Agora, and the Kemeraltı bazaar just a short walk away, I felt like I was in the heart of the city, ready to conquer every corner of it.
