About this house rental
Gorda Getaway is a freshly updated home with all that you need for your next getaway to Matagorda!
The beautifully decorated interior has an open concept kitchen and living area, 2 private king bedrooms, a bunk bed room and a full bathroom.
The spacious kitchen is fully stocked with all of the essentials you would need and then some. The living room has an oversized leather sectional (amazing nap spot or place to cool off after being outside in the hot sun!) with big screen smart TV.
The bed layout is as follows:
Bedroom 1 - king bed
Bedroom 2 - king bed
Bunk Room - twin over twin bunk bed located in a separate room that is next to the two king bedrooms. There is a door that can be closed between the bunk room and the living/kitchen.
Outside, you will love fishing from the pier or grilling the days' catch by the water! The pier is equipped with fishing lights for night time fishing and a built in propane grill!
Matagorda Beach is a straight drive down Beach Road, less than 5 minutes away! Downtown Matagorda is a quick few minute drive the opposite direction. Bait camps and boat ramp nearby too. This really is an amazing location!!

My family and I had a great time. Captain had us on the fish all day long. Reds, black drum, and speckled trout almost every cast! It was by far the best Tx coast fishing trip we’ve ever been on. We can’t wait to come back.

Our family of 3 absolutely loved our stay here at Gorda Getaway. From check in to check out, everything was perfect and easy. We felt to home right as we walked in.
The beds were very comfortable, and the couch was plenty big for all 3 of us to lay on to take a nap. The interior appears to have been recently updated with all new appliances and dishes - very nice. Coffee pods and ground coffee was available for us to enjoy.
Loved the ice maker on the patio. And plenty of seating outside to enjoy your morning coffee or evening sunset. Enjoyed swinging by the dock as the boys fished.
Was truly a lovely experience. Very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Will be back for sure.
