The hotel:
The deluxe single room was clean and neat, simply furnished with 2 single beds, 1 bedside table, 1 chair and 1 small table. The large window provided plenty of natural light, fresh air and a limited view of mountains.
The shared bathroom (with hot water geyser) was reasonably clean and quite small, but serviceable.
The area:
There are a variety of shops and restaurants nearby, but less so compared to in and around Leh's main bazaar / tourist area. Also, unlike the main bazaar, there are no pashmina shop and souvenir shop owners persistently trying to get you into their stores!
The airport is an easy 2.5km walk away, so it is convenient for catching a late morning flight...the only reason I stayed here.
The hotel:
Not enough shared bathrooms; no drinking water dispenser; no kitchen.
The area:
Barking dogs at night can be very disruptive to your sleep (as can the many inconsiderate Indian guests)!

Alles prima! Sehr bequemes Bett, super sauber. Sehr netter Gastgeber. Ruhige Lage, aber doch zentral. Was will man mehr?
