Great location, beautiful view from the terrace. The apartment is quite spacious. Communication with the owner was excellent. Whenever we contacted her, she responded promptly and always did her best to resolve any issues and accommodate our needs.
There were a few issues with the apartment that unfortunately affected our stay. There were no teaspoons in the kitchen at all, so we had to contact the owner and ask her to buy some. She responded immediately and bought them for us, and they were waiting in the mailbox later that same day, which we really appreciated.
The dishwasher was not working, so we had to wash all the dishes by hand. We also found some very dirty kitchenware in the cutlery drawer, which we had to wash before we could use it.
As for the bathroom, there was only one bathroom with a shower, and our friends had to walk through our bedroom every time they wanted to take a shower. The shower door did not seal properly, so there was a lot of water on the floor after every shower. We eventually fixed the seal ourselves. It was nothing complicated and only needed a little attention.
Unfortunately, the biggest issue for us was the smell of the bedding. The duvets and pillows had a very unpleasant musty smell, which made sleeping quite uncomfortable.
The price and location were great, which is why it is such a shame, because with just a little more care this could be an absolutely fantastic place to stay. The apartment simply needs a bit more attention — properly washing and freshening up the bedding, checking what needs to be repaired, and making sure everything is thoroughly cleaned before guests arrive.
