About this cabin rental
Situated in Lake Lure, this charming cabin for $635 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. This log home is located within the Rumbling Bald Resort and is THE number one rated property in all of Lake Lure. Read the reviews! Please note that although this property sleeps 16, we are limited to 14 guest passes. Children under 12 dont need a pass. Passes are only needed for pools and gym. Unless all of you plan to visit the pool or gym at the same time, it shouldnt be an issue. The Resort has new pontoon boats which are available to rent. Additionally speed boats can be rented at Adventure Boating. Golf Carts can be rented from Resort. Contact me for more details. Please note we have Private Caretakers who have been trained on how to clean the home to disinfect it after each stay. This means they wear gloves and disinfect every surface, door knob, light switch, remote controls, foosball handles, etc. Commercial grade outdoor propane fire pit controlled by light switch (out of reach of small children). Private hot tub. Some homes advertise they have a hot tub, but it is located at the indoor pool at the Resort. Big difference. Not all homes are in Resort behind the gates and not all homes have INTERNET. This one does. Some homes have access to Resort but it is a pain to drive to the amenities. Make sure you know what you are renting and where it is located. Dancing Falls Lodge - Overlooks SCENE LOCATION from DIRTY DANCING movie- 5 Star home. Located within the gates of the Rumbling Bald Resort. Note only houses which are part of the resort have access to the resort amenities (2 golf courses, 3 outdoor pools, 1 in-door pool, private beach and marina (boat rentals available), tennis courts, putt putt, fitness center, spa, etc). Situated on the golf course and overlooks the 16th hole (a scene location from the movie Dirty Dancing), a beautiful pond and waterfall. You can hear the soothing sounds of the waterfalls when you sit on the deck. Spectacular view of Bald Mountain from the covered front porch. FEATURED IN LOG HOME LIVING MAGAZINE We have free WI-FI. Fastest speed in the Resort. Note some homes do not have access to the Internet. NO MOTORCYCLES (Resort rule). You can park them at Resort parking lot though. Contact me if you are thinking of bringing any type of trailer. Resort amenities like use of swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), sauna and steam room are free for our guests. Check in is at 4 PM unless it is already cleaned and no one is in there the night before. Check out is 10 AM unless no one is coming in after you and it doesn't need to be cleaned that day. Watch the online calendar and check in with me a few days before your arrival. No early check ins or late checkouts are permitted in the summer as we have back to back rentals and we need all the time to clean it and do any maintenance. We want it to be perfect for your stay. Overlooks waterfalls: Spectacular views, resort amenities and close to Biltmore and Chimney Rock. Lots of shopping in Hendersonville.

The house was wonderful with lots of space for all of us. We went on walks each day and the area was so enjoyable to explore. The house was still decorated for the holidays which was such a nice surprise. Would definitely stay there again.

This was a very clean, spacious, well stocked cabin with amazing views. The trees were beautiful & still had most of their leaves. We enjoyed sitting on the deck listening to the waterfall, late night conversions by the fire pit, playing games & taking advantage of the outdoor amenities; corn hole, giant chess board, checkers, basketball & Jenga. A nice playground for the kids & beach area! So much to do right on the property! We seen a bear waking past our cabin and then again the next day at a neighbors cabin & walking near the road (early evening) on our way back from the beach area. We got excellent photos & videos of this. Highlight of the trip!! Four days was NOT long enough for us! Would love to come back in early summer. My favorite cabin so far!

We used this property as our annual family ladies trip. There were 9 of us present and there was plenty of space for rest, relaxation, and cooking some good food! We ranged in age from 21 to 81 and there was something available for all of us. The only issue we had was locating a light switch (we missed the dimmers!) And the keys to the hot tub (they were right in front of our eyes 🤣). Laurie answered our concerns quickly and checked in on us. We will definitely return to this property!!

We stayed here to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday and had a fantastic time! The house was perfect to accommodate 4 families and all ages found entertainment within the house. The amenities in Rumbling Bald were enjoyed by everyone.

We had a nice stay for the weekend of my fiancés birthday with several friends from surrounding areas. We had plenty of space in the cabin and lots of fun things to do all around including games/pool table/hot tub, and even just walking in the neighborhood/resort area.

Communication was great and Laurie was very responsive and hospitable.
We loved the space on the decks and the fire pit allowed us to enjoy it as it was pretty cold during our stay. Not to mention theres an amazing view of the water - it was so peaceful and serene. We loved the game rooms as well as we enjoyed the puzzles, checkers, and pool table!

Even better, since it's located in a resort, there's a spa 2 minutes away we visited for massages and facials (it was life changing). There are also many other amenities you can use through the resort as well (putt putt, an indoor pool, boat rentals, etc.).
I highly recommend this cabin for groups looking for a nice place to enjoy nice views and a great time with family or friends. We hope to come back again!

We have wanted to take our three children and their families to the Mountains for a week of fun and relaxation. We chose Dancing Falls and are so glad . It did not disappoint! The home was perfect for our family. There was something for everyone. The home was spacious and fully stocked. It was everything and more than described. There were things to do for the kids at the resort as well. The owners went above and beyond to accommodate us. .We were an hour away from
Asheville, NC and all it had to offer. I highly recommend staying here. I’m hoping we can return in the near future!

We had a fantastic time at Dancing Falls Lodge for our Fall Crafting Retreat! Laurie was a fantastic host with great communication, and even let us have flexible check-in and check-out times with no hassle at all! The house instructions were clear and organized for directions, lock codes, hot tub use, and more. Plus there was plenty of room for groceries, cooking, and board game play for a large group of people. We will absolutely be back!!!

I help organize an annual trip for 12 guys to play golf. This was our 10th year and the first time we have returned to Lake Lure since 2019. We normally have stayed at the Fairway Villas, which are nice, but all of us being able to stay at the same house made the trip even better. The house was great, communication with owner was great, we all had a comfortable place to sleep, and we had a great time hanging out on the back deck by the fire pit. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

While the description says 5 bedrooms & 4 full baths, it was very embarrassing & a very unpleasant surprise at this price point to see that the 3 bedrooms upstairs share only 1 bathroom. (The next closest bathroom is down a long flight of stairs and across the living area….most inconvenient at night, so the 1 bathroom upstairs had to do.) And anyone using the farther one (on the main level) had to tote their clothes, toiletries, etc with them. It is very unusual to have a second full bath on the main level but no 2nd bedroom anywhere near it……especially at this price point! The written description does not say the “ bedroom 5” location, which is upstairs with the other 2. The most annoying part was that with all “senior” couples as guests, I specifically asked in advance if there was anything unusual about the house & was told nothing about this. After we got all of our collective stuff in & settled, the host did ask if we wanted to move to another place that “is not as conveniently set up”, and offered another option a day or so later. Otherwise, she was extremely available & helpful with Info & check-in & out times. Just be forewarned…

We stayed at Dancing Falls Lodge for our annual family vacation—3 families with 6 adults and 4 children. Our family is all about experiences and making memories, and Dancing Falls was the perfect choice. Well layed-out and equipped, we had everything we needed for spending time together cooking family meals and playing family games, but also finding separate spaces to quietly read a book or relax. Located in a secluded spot within the resort, with beautiful views from 3-levels of balconies, we were able to enjoy the outdoors — relaxing with a drink, soaking in the hot tub, enjoying the fire pit, and making s’mores. The property manager lives near and is attentive and responsive, ensuring guests have everything they need for the experience they desire.

This house easily accommodated 15 family members and had great amenities. The mattresses were a little uncomfortable but for our short stay they were adequate. The owner is very nice and provided great suggestions that were helpful. Our family is already considering a return trip to this property and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a large home in the Rumbling Bald resort.

Just completed a 5 night stay at Dancing Falls Lodge. The house was everything described and very comfortable for our family of 6 adults and 5 children under 7! Laurie was SO responsive and proactive sending us suggestions of when to go to the pools and the beach! She would randomly reach out to make sure everything was going well. I am widowed and took both my children and their families for Spring break 2022. We do at least one family trip a year. Lake Lure and this amazing home made for a very happy family time. Lots of room to spread out, many things in the house to entertain the grandchildren and beautiful views out every window. We had beautiful fires and ate in most nights. Easy to eat in with the well equipped kitchen. The house manager was all over the tho small problem we had. One tub wasn’t draining well. Laurie had a man there at 8:00 Sunday night to remedy the problem. I didn’t call her till Sunday afternoon. Amazing!
We will be returning to this “Dirty Dancing” home.

The walk down the deck set the mood for the entire stay...you see water and feel the breeze as you walk in...the house has everything you need to have a full vacation...pool table, hot tub, fire pit, poker table and a great grill !!! you don't even need to leave !!! we had a fabulous time and enjoyed everything the house had to offer and the owner stayed in communication with us when needed :)

We had a blast at the beautiful “Dancing Falls” cabin! We had our four children, my Mom and our 5 grandsons. One of our 6 year old grandsons is wheel chair bound and there was ample room on the main floor for him to get around! The view was stunning…even in the dead of winter! The resort amenities were enjoyed by all. We played putt putt, swam in the indoor pool and shopped at the gift shop. We would definitely recommend staying at “Dancing Falls” in the beautiful Lake Lure community!

The Dancing Falls lodge is beautiful and is surrounded with many things to keep the family entertained. My family and I met there for our summer vacation and came from two separate states. There were 20 of us in all and we weren't the least bit cramped. I would recommend this rental to others as an exciting place to stay. Laurie and Tom are very considerate and helpful rental agents.
