The property is well kept and secure it has designated parking for both the main house and the casita. We stayed in the casita. it is very well kept, which is saying alot for being pet friendly. It has everything you need to be comfortable, including a hot tub and fire pit. The property itself is fenced in and private. The color schemes inside are meant to mimic the desert, a lot of effort went into the design and art of this space, definitely worth mentioning.
We booked this stay to attend an event, I asked if it were possible to get an earlier check in. We traveled with our pet and wanted to get settled prior. I did receive a message from the owner stating he would let me know, he had to clarify with his cleaning staff. The day of check in I received check in instructions to acces the property, but no response to my early check in request prior or otherwise. Which I would have appreciated a deny rather than no response at all. We had to cancel some of our plans for our stay. Our event ran late, we ordered in, went to close the curtains to the main entry and there was a roach on the curtain, it put me off my dinner, before we went to bed walking in to the main bedroom there was another one. Also, the area we got the impression was not the best, there is a lot of vagrancy and people walking around who appeared to be on drugs. A lot of the surrounding business had bars over both the windows, and doors. This made me appreciate the fenced in security of the property.

I live in hotels, AirBnBs, and short-term rentals about 300 days a year. This place is my favorite. I’ve stayed here before and always check to see if it’s vacant every time I come to ABQ. The property and the people who manage it are that great!
I wish it had a full-length mirror. If it did, I didn’t see it.

It was good until the end some one came up asking us like we are children if we put more chlorine into the jacuzzi then we are supposed to.
The person that approached me as if I was a child doing something wrong. Perhaps she was just asking a question, but the look on her face did not suggest that. It wasn’t even 10 minutes after 11 check out.
In addition, she seemed upset to view her job. As if we asked her to work for us.
