Nestled in Hickory Run State Park, this lovely house for $200 per night is a great option for your next break. Welcome to your vacation! Our home is a spacious 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath mountain home designed for families looking to unwind and make memories. We are located in the Lake Harmony Estates community overlooking Lake Harmony in Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains. It’s hard to pick which season here is most fun because there’s skiing/snowboarding in the winter, hiking and biking in the spring, swimming and boating in the summer, and stunning autumn leaves in the fall. We are equipped to be a year round rental, with heat and air conditioning. We are a 5-minute walk to the beach at Lake Harmony, a 6-minute drive to Big Boulder ski resort and a 10-minute drive to Jack Frost ski resort. We are close to all of the indoor water parks, state parks, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, golfing, mini-golf, casinos, and outlet shopping. The home is a 5-minute drive or nice shaded walk to Split Rock Resort. Summer rentals include access to the lake (Lake Harmony Estates beach passes included) as well as use of 2 kayaks and lifejackets. After your adventures, you’ll find plenty to do back at the house to relax. Watch wildlife, play board games, enjoy the firepit or curl up by the fireplace with a good book or for a movie night. There are plenty of common spaces throughout the home for your group to spread out but still be together. Nearby, you'll find restaurants such as Nick's Lake House, Terra Cottage Cafe, Boulder View Tavern, Shenanigans, Piggy's, Sunset Green and more. Lake Harmony Market or The Hub are close for market essentials and a full grocery store is just under 15 minutes away in Blakeslee. Amenities? Sorry no pets, and no smoking. For security purposes, outdoor security cameras monitor the outside of the property, and are not to be disabled or covered in any way. A security company monitors the development and the property. The house also has an alarm. We ask all renters to sign a short term lease stating that they agree to our house rules. We enjoyed our stay. Loved being able to walk to the lake. The kayaks and paddle boards added to the enjoyment. We spent a beautiful afternoon on the lake. The kitchen is well equipped but the pans were not in great shape. The house has ceiling fans throughout but several of them could of used a cleaning. The fire pit and outdoor space was the best and seeing all the deer wander through the property made us feel like we were removed from civilization! We would definitely stay again.

My family really enjoyed their stay at your Mountain retreat. The kids all took loved the paddle boards and Kayaks on the lake and my mom loved reading on the deck. We all enjoyed hikes, swimming, and the sites of the area. We ended our days with a fire or a game inside. It was great connecting with my family in a beautiful surrounding!!

The house was clearly dear to the owners and was a great place to spend a week with the family. Big family area, stocked kitchen, and 2.5 baths were welcome amenities. The walk to the beach/boat launch area is very short, and we took advantage of the 2 kayaks and life vests (even for a 2yo) that were at the house. Communication with host was great as well.

They thought of everything. There was so much room to spread out. Our family of 6 never felt on top of each other. However there were plenty of opportunities to hang out together when we wanted to. There were plenty of tv’s for the one day of rain that forced us to spend time indoors. The kitchen had everything we could ever need. The beds were very comfortable. And we really enjoyed watching the animals walk inches from the porch. The fire pit was a lot of fun, even though most nights we were too exhausted to have a fire. We loved getting up and taking morning walks looking at nature. The beach was nice. Surprisingly not too crowded. The kids enjoyed playing on the dock. And the boys loved fishing on Lake Harmony. Both on the kayaks and at the shore line. They all caught personal bests. It was everything we hoped it would be and more.
