El trato de Khai y su familia. La ubicación en medio de la naturaleza. Ideal si quieres inmersión en su cultura.
Hacía frío y quizás no es la mejor época para ir (enero), pero eso no es culpa de nadie. No es lo mejor si buscas un alojamiento tipo hotel, por lo demás repetiriamos.

We had the most amazing time at our stay here. The family were so lovely and accommodating and made us the most delicious dinner and breakfast! They also organised a 2 day trek with us with a guide called Khai. He was so lovely, showed us around the rice fields answering any questions we had! He was also very helpful lending a hand on the more difficult parts of the trek! Would highly recommend to everyone.

The remoteness high above Sapa was incredible. If you're looking for an authentic experience, look no further. The family are wonderful , providing free breakfast and a paid dinner at 150k. (There's nowhere else to eat) Khai is also a guide and can take you out. His English is excellent. The motorbike ride from the bridge is hairy, steep and on muddy paths, not suited for the faint hearted! We went up in the dark and had to abandon the bikes and trek the rest on muddy steep slopes with heavy backpacks. We experienced very heavy rain and zero visibility, so could not trek. When the clouds do lift, you'll be treated to amazing views! You can trek from Sapa but it will probably take all day and is very very steep. Don't let this put you off. Just check the forecast, as it's very different to Sapa town.
The walls to the rooms are very thin. You can hear everything from next door. The stairs to the rooms are very steep. There is no toilet or bathroom upstairs and only one bathroom in the entire property with 4 guest rooms. As you would expect, this is very rustic and you can hear roosters and dogs early in the morning, and other animals scratching about in the roof space.
