No big surprises here. Paul was a good host, the location was great (a walk from Central Park or Times Square), and the place was clean. Stayed with my wife and two kids and there was enough room for the 4 of us.

Everyone should be so blessed as to have a property manager like Paul. He was attentive from the time I arrived through the moments I had to cut my trip unexpectedly short. Paul is a gracious host -- attentive, accommodating and goes the extra mile to make his guests comfortable. He has complete integrity. Thanks so much again, Paul. I will look forward to my next stay in New York.

My husband and I were very happy with the apartment and all it had to offer inside and out!

We visited NYC with our college-aged son and Paul's apartment proved comfortable and centrally located. He provides everything you would find in a hotel (hair dryer, iron & ironing board, coffee machine and magnifying mirror) and exceeds expectations as a host. Broadway, Restaurant Row, and several subway stations are all a short walk away. We especially enjoyed the proximity to the Hudson River Park. It is a great place to walk, run, or ride a bike. There is a Citi Bike rental station near the apartment. The bedroom is surprisingly insulated from street noise. Any light sleepers who will be sleeping on the sofa should bring ear plugs. Our party of three adults managed fine in the apartment, but it might be a bit cramped with four or five adults. We have rented through VRBO for beach trips and mountain trips. This was our first city rental, and it was our best VRBO experience to date because of Paul's gracious hospitality.

I did not end up booking this flat, but the owner took the time to reach out and make me feel welcome after I made an inquiry. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone coming to New York and I look forward to booking this listing on a return trip to NYC. Best wishes to Paul C. Cheers! Megan

This property is perfectly located for a "Broadway" vacation. We were able to walk to all of our shows and favorite restaurants. The five flights of stairs were not a problem. The apartment is clean and comfortable. Paul was very responsive and helpful in securing our booking. The wireless connection was very good. We plan to stay in this apartment again when visiting New York.

Paul was so lovely to deal with and really went out of his way to make our stay perfect. He was even able to accommodate our family group of 4 when my sister came along at the last minute. It was a little crowded for 4 but normally I would think only 2 people would stay here and not a group of 4! We had some plumbing issues initially as can happen from time to time but Paul came over immediately to resolve the problem. The kitchen was stocked with utensils for cooking and plenty of condiments and a keurig coffee machine. But as we were on 9th avenue there were plenty of restaurant options and a number of supermarkets down the block. There was also a great bagel shop on 53rd and 8th ave. The bed was comfy and great cable tv in the lounge. Location of the apartment was terrific as only 3 blocks from the subway or a short walk to central park or times square. The WIFI was also very handy when trying to book theatre tickets! Overall a very enjoyable stay for our Aussie family!

LOCATION, LOCATION! This newly renovated unit is located perfectly for the visitors who are looking to take in the city. The unit was clean, and well stocked. We enjoyed the ice cream shop below the unit many nights, and hit up a lot of the restaurants nearby. We were a family of four, 2 adults and 2 kids (8&10) . Hubby and I slept on the bed, one child slept on the pull out sofa, and one slept on the pull out in the bedroom. It was a little tight for 4 of us, but we had a GREAT stay. The owner does a great job of making it clear there is no elevator, and his unit is on the 5th floor. We were a little nervous about dragging the luggage up and down the stairs. Honestly, I huffed and puffed a bit, but it wasn't too bad considering you really only take the luggage up and down one time. The building was quiet and really low key. I think I only saw 1 tenant while we were there. This was a great NYC apartment and we highly recommend. :)
