We want to make sure you have the utmost convenience! You'll be provided an access code to the main entrance prior to check-in. We can be reached by phone, text, or email, during the duration of your stay. The house is located in the heart of the New River Valley and is just miles from the New River Trail State Park. The neighborhood, with a private road, features about a dozen homes on the upper portion of Claytor Lake. You're only about 2 miles upriver from the Lowman's Ferry "Lighthouse" Bridge. The house sits directly on Claytor Lake with a dock for your own private access to the water. About 40 minutes to Virginia Tech and Radford University, 25 Minutes from Draper Valley Golf Club, and about 4 miles to the Boy Scout's Camp Blue Ridge Scout Reservation. There are also many wineries and breweries throughout the area including Iron Heart which is only 8 miles from the house. The area is great for a summer lake vacation, a fall get-away to enjoy the beautiful fall colors, or a peaceful winter retreat. All areas of the house, decks, and dock are open for access to guests. The dock available for use by renters and their guests for sun-bathing and swimming, there is space for renters to dock their own boat. This 1 bedroom 1 bathroom, 1 story house features sleeping arrangements for up to 4 people.
