This spacious six-bedroom first-floor property is centrally located in Clifden town and offers guests a comfortable stay in a modern space, while being within a few steps of local shops, cafes, restaurants, and bars. This is a perfect place for families with older teens, or groups of friends to share. Ideally located for guests to enjoy the social life that Clifden offers, and still be close to local attractions and activities. The property also has the bonus of being located next to the Clifden bus stop, which has regular bus services to and from Galway city daily. The famous “Sky Road” loop is nearby, and Connemara's Wild Atlantic Way is waiting to be explored. Clifden town has ample shops, bars, and restaurants, and will provide you with everything you might need for your self-catering holiday. Traditional music, song and dance are very popular in many of the local pubs. Further afield, but just a short drive away, you will find beautiful beaches at Mannin Bay, Roundstone and Omey Beach. A visit to Connemara National Park at Letterfrack, Kylemore Abbey, Killary Fjord are all very popular attractions with visitors to the area. Golf is available at Connemara Golf Links at Ballyconneely, one of the most scenic golf courses in Ireland. The Connemara region is famous for its unique beauty at every turn and will not disappoint. The ferry to Inishbofin Island can be found at Cleggan, an ideal day trip. Other local activities include kayaking, coasteering, mountain walking, golf, fishing, pony trekking, walking, cycling and much more. Ballyconneely 9.5km, Roundstone 18km, Cleggan 11.5km, Letterfrack 14.5km, Westport 65km, Galway city 75km. Facilities: 6 bedrooms, sleeps 11. The accommodation in this spacious property is all on first floor level, with the exception of one bedroom and one bathroom on a second-floor level. It consists of a spacious living room, combined kitchen and dining room, six bedrooms, three bathrooms and a utility room. Entry to the property is at the side of the building, into a bright hallway at ground floor level. The accommodation is all upstairs. When you ascend the stairs, you will find a bright living room to the front of the property. This room overlooks Market Street and is flooded with natural light. It is furnished with comfortable modern couches, large coffee table and multi-channel TV. The living room area has the added benefit of a tea and coffee making area, as well as a wine and beer fridge – a perfect space for entertaining, or just relaxing with a coffee and a book. The combined kitchen and dining room is to the rear of the property and is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable self-catering stay. It includes a dishwasher, oven and hob, microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster, and ample tableware and cookware. The dining area has a large table and chairs which will comfortably seat all guests. The nearby utility room houses a combined washer dryer. The property has six bedrooms, consisting of three king size bedrooms, two double bedrooms, and one single bedroom, sleeping 11 persons in total. All bedrooms have wooden floors, wardrobes, drawers, lockers, and lamps, offering ample storage for your belongings. There are three bathrooms in the property, all offering shower, WC and sink with modern finishes and fittings. Two of the bathrooms are on the main accommodation level. One of the king bedrooms and one of the bathrooms are upstairs and are accessed via a staircase close to the living room. The property is centrally heated throughout by an electric heating system. Bed linen and towels are provided. Heating, electricity and wi-fi is included in the rental price. Smoking is not allowed in the property. Sorry, no pets. The property may be unsuitable for babies and toddlers, or those with mobility issues, due to internal steps and varying floor levels. A free public car park is located about 150m from the property, behind the Clifden Tourist Office. On-street parking is available and is charged at €1 per hour from 11.30am – 6.00pm Monday - Saturday but is free at all other times. Short breaks are available year-round. A security deposit of €300 is required for this property. Our reservations team will arrange this with guests prior to arrival. Pre-authorisation of a payment card will be required.

House was great but it was the layout was not what we expected and made it difficult for my elderly mother especially the first step when you come into the house The lay out is not made clear from the photos.
