We also ask our owners to provide a starter supply of extra cleaning products. -- Additional housekeeping services can be purchased after booking in 3-hour time blocks. Scheduling may be coordinated with your property manager upon arrival. ***Beach Notes*** The Island Houses enjoy a private sandy beach for everything from building sand castles to launching kayaks or trying one�s hand at paddleboarding. The waters here are shallow with a soft bottom; perfect for kayaking and paddleboarding, but not ideal for swimming or snorkeling. For a barefoot beach experience with great food and a unique vibe, head across the street to Rum Point Beach (temporarily closed, reopening in late 2022). Rum Point Beach offers a spectacular white sandy beachfront with vibrant snorkeling, shaded hammocks, watersports, charter excursions, two restaurants, and a beach bar. Chaises are plentiful on a first-come, first-served basis. South of Rum Point Beach you will find The Kaibo, a local beach club and marina. The Kaibo consists of a coffee shop and two restaurants, a beach bar and grill on the lower level along with a fine dining restaurant upstairs. Live music, beach barbecues, and full moon parties are highlights at Kaibo. From the Kaibo Marina, hop on the Cayman Ferry for a day trip across the sound to the shops and restaurants at Camana Bay and Seven Mile Beach. ***Ocean Debris & Sargassum Seaweed*** Beaches in Grand Cayman may also experience floating ocean debris and sargassum seasonally.
