Compared to many other accommodation options in Bologna, this apartment is beautiful and very spacious. Unfortunately, you can tell that it could use a little more care, and the cleanliness in the kitchen wasn’t the best, but otherwise the apartment itself is lovely and very well designed.
It has a small garden as well as a large rooftop terrace, which is amazing. The interior is stylish and the bathrooms are particularly spacious.
The location is also excellent – it’s quiet, yet you can walk pretty much everywhere. There are bus stops nearby, and if you don’t have heavy luggage, you can even walk from Bologna Centrale.
Overall, it’s a beautiful and very comfortable place to stay.
Unfortunately, after just a few uses, the kettle in the kitchen stopped working – it had clearly seen better days. After quite a bit of searching, we eventually found an iron, but unfortunately that didn’t work at all either. With a little update of the equipment and some extra care, this apartment could be absolutely great.
Communication with the host felt rather impersonal. We weren’t given any instructions on how to use the gas in the kitchen and had to ask about several things ourselves.
There is also an extra charge for check-in after 7 pm, so just keep that in mind when planning your arrival. We arrived a little later ourselves, but fortunately weren’t charged anything extra, which we appreciated.

Gerne Wieder
