Located in Oceano, this attractive house for $260 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Enter a private, enchanted Tiki forest tucked away in Oceano, close to the beach, the lagoon, and easy access to the Oceano Dunes. The darling cottage boasts modern decor and furnishings with many, if not all, the conveniences of home. Fully equipped kitchen includes gas range & oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, and breakfast bar with 2 stools. The living room has sofa that folds out to a queen bed (linens are provided), loveseat, and little reading nook with recliner, as well as a flatscreen TV with digital cable. WiFi is included with every stay. Just off the living area is a short hall to the bedrooms and bathrooms. The fully remodeled bathroom has a combination tub/shower and built-in shelves for storing your bath products. The bedroom on the left end of the hall is the queen bedroom and the bedroom to the right has the 2 twins. The absolute best feature of this home has to be the amazing backyard. It's almost like having a park all to yourself! Huge grassy area featuring 2 patios with outdoor seating, sun loungers on a platform along the treeline nestled between the Tikis, and a nice, big fire pit perfect for smores and ghost stories. Come and enjoy this wonderful, unique property! Other things to note: Up to 2 dogs are allowed per stay, but require pre-approval and once approved additional charges will apply. Dogs cannot be left unattended, the yard is not completely fenced. This Property Does Not Have Air Conditioning

We slept well. We were able to prepare a few easy meals and we liked that it was quiet and we could hear the ocean with the windows open or from the patio in the evenings. Our dog had ample space in the backyard to roam around. Airstrip is nearby and we enjoyed watching the planes go by in the morning. Overall, we highly recommend this place to stay that is pet friendly and nearby Avila Beach, Pismo Beach & the Oceano Dunes State Recreational Area.

Great dog friendly property. Quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Super close to the beach - could hear the ocean at night. Lots of birds and wildlife to view as well. Would definitely stay there again.

Last minute bday trip plan looking for some place close to dunes. Property was nice and as described. Big yard and well stocked kitchen. Clean and organized. Heater would not seem to stay on and worked intermittently was only issue but would still stay again. Property management process for approving dog was a bit silly along with the multiple lease agreements they wanted signatures on. Felt more like I was leasing an apartment than just a couple day vacation rental. Once we were at the space was fine. Also cameras outside watching the patio and entrances felt a bit big brother like

We loved this sweet bungalow with amazing yard. Our golden retriever LOVED the yard. Quiet, peaceful and cozy home for a quick getaway to the beach! Thank you for taking such lovely care of this great space and providing it for us to stay in.

This property is advertised a "pet friendly". It's not. Here is why. Buried deep in the property description is the pet policy (not in the policy section). So once this is booked and your non-refundable fee is collected, you have to send pictures of your dog(s) for pre-approval to the property manager, then its $100 per dog (IF they are approved). Then you get additional paperwork you have to sign stating what flea treatment you are using as well as promising to bring furniture covers. These are "pet penalties" and not consistent with VRBOs advertising that all prices and fees are known and transparent upon booking. I've booked pet friendly properties before. The fees are either zero or nominal. The additional pet addendum refers to a pet "deposit", but it's a fee - you don't get it back. I was able to negotiate a lower pet fee, but it was not a pleasant experience booking this property.

Cute house, huge grassy yard. We used the gas barbecue and ate dinners out on the patio. We didn’t use the firepit, but one is available. We enjoyed the short walk down to the beach and The overall relaxing weekend spent here. Look forward to returning sometime soon!
