Guestworks is a service offering of Vacasa that allows homeowners to smoothly and efficiently manage their own properties. What We Love Enjoy all the comforts of home while visiting the “Golden Heart” of Alaska. Ideally located in the downtown area, this Fairbanks home offers a vibrant getaway with thoughtful details throughout. Go dog sledding, explore the Chena River, and bask in the northern lights during the Aurora season! Find everything you need to prepare delicious home-cooked meals in the well-equipped kitchen, outfitted with a full suite of upscale stainless steel appliances. A quaint window seat nook provides an ideal spot to tuck away and browse for the perfect vacation recipe. After dinner, spend time together in the chic living area - get cozy around the pellet stove and break out the provided board games for some good old-fashioned fun. Or relax and watch a movie on the smart TV. A cozy family room offers additional social space with an electric fireplace TV stand and another smart TV (streaming is available using your account). Your vacation rental is within walking distance of cafes, restaurants, the library, a playground, and the downtown area. Spend full-filled days exploring art galleries, museums, and breweries or distilleries. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy kayaking, canoeing, and snowshoeing. Don’t miss a visit to the Aurora Borealis Lodge, one of the best places to view the northern lights in the world! Other local attractions include Fairbanks Children's Museum (0.3 miles), Morris Thompson Cultural & Visitors Center (0.8 miles), Pioneer Park (1.8 miles), and dog sledding at the 1st Alaska Outdoor School (3.5 miles). A laundromat is close by if needed. Things to Know If traveling with a larger group, consider also renting the on-site studio that can accommodate four additional guests. Check-in time: 4:00 PM Check-out time: 10:00 AM All guests shall abide by Vacasa's good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. The twin bed in the third bedroom has a twin trundle underneath. A sofa bed in the family room provides additional sleeping space. Two twin rollaway beds are also available and suitable for small children. A portable air-conditioning unit is provided in the summer months in the primary bedroom. Stairs are required to access this home. The backyard is not available for guest use. The homeowner’s relative lives on-site and another bookable vacation rental is on-site (both have separate and private entrances). Other guests may be present during your stay. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. Security camera details: There is a camera doorbell at the front door. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Great location for our needs. My only tip is to get some blackout curtains. Granted, if I’d remembers to pack the face masks it wouldn’t be an issue, but it would really help. That being said, such a great place and Emily is top notch.
