There‘s anime posters and merch all over the place, great atmosphere and the host is super friendly. There‘s a few retro consoles in the living room with a ton of games to play as well. It‘s up on a hill and the climb can be steep but the view is worth it.

Jag älskade det här stället. Det var den trevligaste ägaren jag någonsin mött, vi hade många långa och trevliga konversationer. Toshi hjälpte mig hitta en mysig onsen, bra restauranger och min tid i Beppu och OMOLOSO hostel kommer jag sent att glömma.
Han hjälpte mig även starta en Pokémon kort kollektion, och jag tillsammans med ägarna skrattade väldigt mycket åt min kansai dialekt och norsk matkultur.
Att jag behövde åka vidare och inte kunde stanna längre.

The staff is really great and isn’t intrusive if you don’t want to talk with them. You have access to a big locker for your luggage and the location is perfect, near touristic attractions
I found it dirty and uncomfortable. The bed is awful and I advise you to take your bath in onsens. Still I didn’t expected much for the price so I’m okay with it.
