I stayed here for 2 nights and had a pleasant stay. My room was fairly modern and clean, and the bed was comfortable. I stayed on the 3rd floor, and the balcony has an excellent view of the mountain. I would recommend staying here.

Property is located in beautiful place. Cat ba beach 3 is 16min away by foot, Cat ba beach 1 is located 14min away. Both are gorgeous beaches.
You can walk to center in 5-10min depending which part do you want to go. The best restaurants to try and recommend by locals are Bamboo Bistro (we came back several times there!), little leaf is nice but a bit over pricy. And coffee is great in Local cafe (where locals get coffee. Price is very very good for what you get)
Minh - was the staff that helped and supported us most of the time. He was amazing. Very supportive, smiling, speaking well English too.
Room was big and with view to the Cat ba city centre.
Hotel restaurant/bar is great. Delicious food, good view, great prices. All food is fresh.
There is indoor/outdoor pool area. It’s not in roof but nice.
Hotel is in cave so it creates amazing vibes. 100%authentic.
We assume this, because of the reason that we traveled during calm, outside of season, continental breakfast were low. You could order omelets that were delicious, yogurt that they could bring you add hock. Apart that there was some fruit, a bit of cereals, bread for tasting. Though - no juice. They had fizzy y like Coca Cola, Fanta, that they cold orange juice which was not. So it’s better to check. Also, breakfast used to finish earlier than it had to.
There was no bathroom curtain so water could drop on the floor. They do dry relatively quick however it’s still wet and slippery.
There were no bathrobes.

Amazing decor in reception area. Li the receptionist was very helpful
But most of the other staff spoke no English at all making simple requests like for a bath towel very difficult
The pool is not really a roof top or even outdoor. It’s between a bar and restaurant area on level 2. Not on the roof. It was not clean the day we arrived and were unable to use it. The water was not clear

Great location and very friendly reception staff
Rooms were dirty. Card for power rarely worked, had to shove in other pieces of paper to keep power on. Pool was small and often full of screaming children. Would be worth having time for adults only. Breakfast very early 6:30-8:30am and limited food. Staff were often smoking, not wearing shirts and staring a lot.
