The location! A great spot to explore Florence and the building has an elevator. The staff were quick to respond and helpful. Clean and modern. Great air conditioning.
The bathroom shower was insanely slipper and slanted — a hazard for anyone. They only provide toiletries for one night of your stay, and forgot body wash in two of the rooms. I messaged about it but they never brought more over. A small thing but an important touch for accommodation at this level.

This is a very upmarket, spacious and luxurious apartment. The location is excellent and just out of the crowded tourist areas. It has all sorts of great restaurants nearby and an excellent small breakfast downstairs. The price is well worth it.

The Algilà Firenze Luxury Apartments could be a great option for a family stay in Florence. Our apartment (402) was large and nicely furnished. It had a nice view and was fairly close to all the key sites in Florence. The beds were decent, through a bit too firm for our preference.
There were a few issues that really negatively impacted out stay. The main one was a really bad smell in the second bedroom. We could not figure out its source; it did not seem to come from the bathroom and we got some whiffs of it on the first floor of the building as well. It was really bad and unpleasant, making it hard to sleep in that bedroom. Second, the shower in the master bathroom was missing a shelf (it was clearly broken, as we could see silicone remains of where it was). Without it, it was very inconvenient to keep soap, shampoo, etc.
