When you are not enjoying the on-site amenities, take one of the two paddleboards for a ride, have a cookout on the private deck, or golf 18 holes at the neighborhood golf club. This contemporary home truly has everything you need and more! The space The Family Friendly Maizy Daze Lake House is a one-stop-shop when it comes to your group vacation needs, complete with modern at home essentials and easy access to neighborhood amenities-all just steps from the Lake Travis waterfront! The 3 bedrooms (queen, queen, and 2 bunk beds rated at 160 lbs) offer plenty of space for parents and kids. The private park has both lake and boat access and is only a 5 min walk (.25 miles) from the house. The community amenities include a short walk to picnic areas, tennis courts, pickle ball, as well as both a disc and regular golf course, in addition to a great food truck parked at the Caddyshack that often has live music on weekends -all of which is only a little over a mile from the front doorstep! At Maizy Daze, we pride ourselves on our amazing views and spectacular sunsets. That said the house is not intended to be an event venue - our house rules strictly follow AirBnb policy - there are no unauthorized guests/pets allowed on the property. Additional guests not disclosed in the booking will be considered unauthorized guest. Violation of this rule is subject to a $100/per guest charge and/or immediate cancellation of the reservation. We are more than willing to consider requests and have happily hosted small gatherings (even a wedding!), but these events and the total number of expected guests need to be disclosed and approved prior to booking. Parking on the lawn is prohibited and parking on the street could result in a ticket from the city. For this reason, we recommend no more than 4 cars. The nearest grocery store is just a short 8-mile drive from the property. Lago does have its own local delivery service named Pronto-or else we love using the Dumpling App (our favorite shopper is Sutton) both can be downloaded via the app in your phone's app store and enables you to have a personal shopper with items delivered from almost anywhere in Cedar Park. Guest access There is a washer-dryer in the house, as well as a few tennis rackets and snorkel gear located in the bunk bedroom and are available to use during your stay. For safety and damage reasons, we ask that you not park on the lawn-doing so could result in a minimum of a $100 charge. We will provide guests with two initial rolls of paper towels, and toilet paper, we also provide a dish sponge, dish towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, dish soap and at least six garbage bags and enough soap for two loads of laundry to get your stay started. We do ask that guests be prepared if they run out to ensure they have sufficient staples needed to ensure no garbage is left behind. Other things to note We highly recommend guests bring water shoes to cover their feet and protect from potential zebra mussels while walking in the lake. Please also note that the bunk beds are rated/best suited for individuals 160lbs or under. Pickle ball, disc golf and golf clubs are avail for little to no fee at the Caddy Shack, and golf fees can be discounted 20% when you let them know you are staying with us!
