This is a well presented older apartment with plenty of space, plenty of crockery, plenty of pot n pans, a proper stovetop Italian coffee pot and coffee (not pods again!!), microwave, a comfy bed, a little washing machine and a little TV if needed, and good aircon.
Further, the location is absolutely central and the security is also good.
So what else…ok ,the shower drainage is extremely slow - be careful if it hasn’t been fixed.
The wifi - well there is wifi but the internet is incredibly slow and drops out continuously - reminiscent of dial-up performance of years back- not good enough for 2026.
I did report it so hopefully that is fixed and a non-issue.
BUT our experience - no facetime, no streaming etc- make sure you have your own connection and network thru your own smartphone.
So if you want to see Florence for a few days this place would serve you well, it is a real good option.
