Poor experience very disappointing

The view from the property and location being close to Dinosaur National Monument. The size of the living space and kitchen and comfie sofa.

The property was not cleaned well. Hair was still on bath mat, parts of insects in beds, dribbled food on tops of cabinet doors and inside the garbage cupboard. The ceiling fan and light in the downstairs bedroom didn't work leaving one guest to sleep in the living room as it was too hot to stay in the bedroom. Curtains do not block out light in the downstairs bedroom as they are so thin. The upstairs bedroom has no curtain over the glass in the door so you sleep with full daylight. The beds are poor quality and the pillows were dirty and very thin. The upstairs light also did not work. The worst was the downstairs basement neighbour who you are asked to be considerate of as they go to work early (you are even told to go to bed early in the instructions) and yet they were still playing loud country music well after 12pm and the noise was particularly loud in the downstairs bedroom. I would not recommend this for a family for a restful holiday place. The kitchen is not well stocked - bags are listed but none present, honey that has been around too long/ crystallised.

Location and view were great for us. Price was very reasonable. Amenities were fine. Our guest conta t, Lesa Deadman, was very courteous and responsive to questions.

Nothing to not like overall. Shower handle on main floor needs to be tightened. Wood edging trim on entrance was damaged by previous visitor and has a couple exposed nails. It's on the inside entrance on the corner that goes to main floor room. The nails should be addressed. Overall, nothing major. We were happy with the accommodations.
