We loved our stay in Boone, and wished we had stayed longer. The staff were welcoming, the room was clean and had everything we needed. The retro decor of the motel is also cool. We would highly recommend a walk over to the Appalachian Mountain Brewery and breakfast from Stick Boy or Local Lion too!

The restaurant at Rhode's Motor Lodge was top notch - Over Yonder. I highly recommend if you stay for the night. I also enjoyed the outdoor space. There were plenty of places to relax. Outside and inside.
Overall, I nice stay. The coffee in reception should have been ready at 6 am but was not always ready that early. The shower, seemed to be slow to drain creating a pool of water while showering.

Parked right out front of room. View was very pretty. Location was good.
The person at the front desk was very nice and accommodating
It smelled like dirty dogs.
There were no shelves in the bathroom for toiletries or in the shower. Only one small mirror in the bathroom.
