In an ultimate prime location, our Beachfront villa is located in the popular seaside resort of Costa Teguise, located on the southeast side of Lanzarote. Sleep to the sound of the relaxing waves of the sea, with always nice weather, wake up with a cup of coffee on the private beach of the lagoon. Welcome to our cozy self-catering apartment in the most popular location of the 4-star Sands Beach Resort. Everything needed for a wonderful, relaxing holiday with the option of self-catering or enjoying a delicious breakfast at the Hacienda. Extremely suitable for families of up to 4 to 5 people. This location is ideal for lovers of sports and activities, but also ideal for those who love peace and relaxation and sun and sea. Situated close to the sea, less than a 100-metre walk away, it is a very revitalizing and healthy place to spend your holiday and completely relax. The family-friendly resort is one of the most popular on the island of Lanzarote. This resort was built in the 1980s and cannot be called ultra-modern, and requires some maintenance here and there. This does not spoil the fun, because it has numerous amenities including a fitness center, 6 swimming pools, including an Olympic competition pool, restaurants, bars, mini supermarket, massage parlor, tennis court. Every year, due to the wonderful climate, this is a favorite place for many athletes to train and the annual Lanzarote marathon is also organized from here. The city center of Cucharas is less than a 10-minute walk with many restaurants, shops, supermarkets, car rental and bars with entertainment. Near Costa Teguise there is a beautiful golf course and also a large Aqua water park.The villa is spacious and sunny and has 1 bedroom with a double bed and plenty of wardrobe space with mirrors. There is a folding bed in the living room, a pull-down bed behind mirror doors and a sofa bed. The bathroom has a relaxing bath, bidet and toilet. In the adjacent room there is a large room with two sinks. The open living room flows into a wooden nostalgic and somewhat dated yet charming kitchen. This has a microwave, coffee maker, fridge/freezer, oven, induction plate, sandwich maker, kettle and sufficient crockery for up to 6 people. You can enjoy breakfast on the sunny terrace overlooking the water of the lagoon, and enjoy a drink and a glass of white wine in the evening. A private beach on the lagoon is a 10-step walk from the sun terrace. There are several sunbeds here for lazing, reading or sunbathing, with a view of the water, white ibis and seagulls. The villa overlooks the lagoon and offers a wonderful sheltered place for young children to play on the beach. For the older youth there are kayaks and paddle boards or rubber boats to paddle in, again extremely safe because of the sheltered nature of the lagoon, and there are no dangers of drifting into the open sea. If you like sleek, modern and design, this place is less suitable, and the Sandsbeach resort also lives up to its name. When the weather is windy, things can be called Sandy! . .

The room was not ready for rental at owners own admission. We expected basic but this was unmaintained making things unusable. We paid a cleaning charge however the rooms were dirty on arrival with dirty floors/hairs around bath/dirty outdoor space/dirty mirrors owner said due to not knowing about our booking. Booked 10day prior. I had to clean the property myself when we arrived of other peoples mess. Wardrobes full of owners personal items making us unable to put all our things away. Broken Sliding wardrobe doors difficult to open/close that owner is aware of also the unstable/unusable dining table which has been attempted to be fixed with brackets due to legs falling off causing sloping top which drinks easily slide off of. S/C facilities unusable due to owners out of date produce in cupboards and ants. Although states WiFi, this had to be requested. We had beds and working TV though! Cot & highchair supplied when eventually got back in touch night before arrival but wasn’t going to supply until I said they’re kind of detrimental for a 2 yr old. There is dated as advertised but this is dated and unmaintained which you do not see in the pictures. Host is very pleasant however does not relate with just how unsuitable the property is for holiday rental…well…at the time of our stay anyway. Cannot fault location or holiday complex apart from extremely steep slopes around complex for pushchairs. The Lagoon is beautiful and fantastic for children.
