This was an amazing guesthouse! We stayed here before trekking the Kumano Kodo, and the host was incredibly kind and accommodating. They allowed us to drop our bags off before check in and, even more generously, let us leave them at the guesthouse while we completed the trek and collect them afterwards.
We only stayed for 1 night, but the guesthouse was comfortable, traditional and exceptionally clean. The host was wonderful, meeting us personally for check in and making us feel very welcome. They were friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with throughout.
We would definitely recommend staying here, especially if you’re doing the Kumano Kodo 😊
