We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The property is beautifully located between Montespertoli and Certaldo (which has a great Eurospin supermarket nearby for supplies). Francesco is a superb host - incredibly friendly, responsive on WhatsApp/Booking, and very helpful.
We rented the main building for our group of six. It’s spacious, located just up a short flight of stairs right in front of the pool area. The bedrooms are large, and the lounge features a lovely fireplace. Some windows have insect netting, which was fantastic for letting in fresh air without the mosquitoes.
The property features a beautiful garden and a large, open relaxation area. Because there are only three guest accommodations on-site, it never feels crowded, and there are always plenty of sun loungers by the pool.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, dishwasher, there are laundry/ironing facilities, and a Lavazza A Modo Mio coffee machine (Francesco kindly provided about 16 starter capsules, which was a fantastic touch!).
The location was the perfect base for exploring Tuscany - almost all the locations we wanted to visit were within an hour's drive.

While our overall stay was fantastic and the host was superb, there were a few areas that could be improved to truly elevate the experience:
Wi-Fi: The internet was inconsistent at times, with speeds generally around 12–14 Mbps, causing some buffering on YouTube when it ran slower.
Bathroom: The shower is very cramped for a fairly large bathroom. There is also a lack of storage - no shelves for toiletries and no towel racks/hooks to hang towels for a larger group. This lack is a bit of an oversight.
Amenities: We were only provided 2 rolls of toilet paper for 6 people for a week-long stay, so we had to buy our own. Future guests might want to pack a few extras.
Beds: The beds are a bit old-school. They aren't completely uncomfortable, but you can feel the springs and they sag slightly in the middle. Upgrading to thicker, modern mattresses and bed bases would be a great investment.
Despite these minor letdowns, it's a wonderful place, and making these few adjustments would make it a truly high-quality stay in every area!
