Awesome location. Reception staff is super friendly. Fireplace always a winner! Great room facilities. Beautiful view. Convenient parking. Good value for money.
Breakfast served only from 8am, but a that time the are was still being cleaned. The gardens need some TLC.
Overall, Critchley Hackle Lodge is always a solid place to stay.

The peace and tranquility of the property
Pity there isn't more life in the pond - think maybe the ducks are eating all the good stuff! 🙂

Staff were very friendly. Location is conveniently close to town
The lodge and facilities are old and tired and in serious need of attention.
Fishing was not good as some guests did not use fly fishing tacle but spinning reels. This had a very negative impact on the whole experience
