Location of Casale La Giara is superb. Views on San Miniato on the distant horizon on one side and Colline Pisane on the other are all phenomenal, aesthetically pleasing and very civilized. Immediate surrounding around the house itself is highly cultivated indeed.
I would not say we did not like it but the toilet / restroom is on the ground floor (the only one) and its use during the night is not that convenient. For some it could even be a bit risky due to rather steep stairs. Otherwise perfect.
Gravel roads leading to the property from both directions are adventurous and we were happy that our rented car was a bit elevated - a cross version. All these were safely compensated by the excellent location.
The name “Sorrezzana” associated with the property we were unable to find anywhere, both physically and digitally, while Via Casale was a good orientation bearing.

What an amazing gem!
The host was wonderful, and she was very quick to respond to any of our requests.

Clean property complete with kitchen and laundry.
The access roads are a big detractor. We arrived after dark and it was very difficult to navigate the rutted and washed out paths. Left or right, both directions were extremely challenging for our small car.
Arriving at dark, there was no exterior lighting on the building. Using flashlights we went to the given address and the wrong door/lockbox. We had to find cell signal to get more specifics.
The unit is nicely appointed. The bedrooms are upstairs. The stairs are quite steep with low handrail. I prefer having bathroom near bedroom. This is downstairs at the back of the unit. You have to go thru kitchen, living area, and laundry to reach bath. I stumbled going down stairs to get to bathroom at night and then thru the multiple landings.
The property did not meet our needs for roads and accessibility. We booked two nights but left the next morning and found more suitable accommodations elsewhere.
