The location is stellar. The condo is close to the beach and 2 pools. The condo had pretty much everything we needed and then some. Everything was clean, which is always a good sign. You can't beat the views from the deck! My goodness, the sunrises alone take your breath away. The beds were comfortable, and the shower system in the primary bathroom was a very nice surprise. Also, I left a personal item that my son had made for me behind, and I contacted the company that handles the condo. The person I "spoke" with was quick to respond. She contacted the housekeeper, and my item will be mailed to me. I really appreciate that.
I'm not crazy about the carpet in the bedrooms. The deck's furniture could use an update. One of the seats on the outdoor loveseat was broken. Also, a painting hanging in the stairwell had a broken glass. I took it down out of concern that my granddaughter might get hurt if it fell and broke completely.

This was our 3rd annual mom and daughters Mother's Day stay on Harbor Island. Communication was excellent! The condo was extremely clean, invitingly cheerful, and felt very cozy and homey. Lots of towels! Comfortable beds, pillows, and living room furniture! Well-stocked! Excellent beachfront view!
A few things could make it better: outdoor chair cushions need cleaning from mildew, kitchen needs a pizza cutter, a pitcher, and a better corkscrew;) The master sink needs to be serviced-slow draining.

The place was clean. The condo has a nice, equipped kitchen and the washing machine and drying machine looked pretty new. The gated community was very nice, and it felt like a very safe place to stay.
I didn't like that the description of the rental condo was deceiving. The description stated the following:
Apartment
Bedroom 1: 1 twin bed and 1 king bed and 1 queen bed
Bedroom 2: 1 twin bed and 1 king bed and 1 queen bed.
However, it had only 2 twin beds and 1 king bed. I rented the place because it had plenty of beds to sleep.
