About this cabin rental

Located in Arrowsic, this charming cabin for $200 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Captain's Camp is a secluded river-side property located on the quiet Williams Road in West Georgetown, Maine. The camp was built by a commercial lobsterman and avid outdoorsman ("the Captain"), who had a deep love for nature. We hope that our guests experience a similar appreciation and curiosity for nature during their stay at Captain's Camp. Sit on the West facing covered deck and watch the Back River estuary come to life. Observe Ospreys in their nest that is located just a hundred feet away, watch fish jump in the river, and listen to seals bark in the distance. Experience the tides come and go during your stay. The camp is located in a marsh area that completely drains out at low tide. At high tide you can swim and kayak and at low tide you, or the kids, can indulge in a mud bath. Feel like a game of horse shoes? The yard features two legal size horse shoe pits off to the left side. Feel like roasting marshmallows while you watch the sun set? There is a large fire pit located in the yard that you may use during your stay. Feel like going to the beach or out to eat? The camp is located 10 minutes away from attractions like Reid State Park and 15 minutes away from restaurants like OystHERS Raw Bar & Bubbly in Bath. The camp features two separate, open lofts and a central living area. Both lofts are accessed by ladders only. The Queen Loft fits two people comfortably in a queen bed. The second loft has two twin XL beds that fit two people and looks out toward the river. There is a twin sleeper sofa available in the living room area on the first floor if needed. The kitchen consists of a full size fridge/freezer, electric stove, two bay sink, and plenty of counter and cabinet space. Important Notes: *There is NO washer or dryer at the camp. The closest laundry mat is located about 20 mins away in Bath. There is a clothesline located on the property so you can dry bathing suites or beach towels. *The location is tidal and on a marsh. Therefore, you will experience high/low tides and mosquitos (during summer months). *We do not provide kayaks, canoes, or life jackets. Feel free to bring your own or you can rent from a local company. We recommend Seaspray Kayaking and Paddle in Brunswick. *Georgetown is an island and the water here comes from individual wells. The water is safe to use but it does not taste very good when you drink it. We recommend that you stop and buy drinking water at a store on your drive down. *We rent Saturday to Saturday. Check in is on Saturday at 4PM and check out is the following Saturday at 11AM.
