This delightful 1-bedroom cottage is perfect for your escape to the Little Deschutes River near La Pine. Nestled in a tranquil setting, this fantastic property offers a cozy retreat for guests. The bedroom up stairs features a comfortable queen bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bathroom down stairs is equipped with a shower and a hair dryer for your convenience. In the additional living room space, you'll find a sofa bed for extra sleeping arrangements, games, smart Tv, and wood stove. With amenities like heating, AC, a washer and dryer, and WiFi, you'll have everything you need for a delightful stay. The river frontage offers beautiful views and river access to the popular Little Deschutes River for float, kayaking, wildlife viewing and fishing. This spring will have a good runoff and stimulate the germination of 20 to 30 native flowering plant species on the property. The spring also invites two to three does and their fawns, beaver, porcupine, squirrels, and many species of waterfowls and song birds to enjoy the trees, river and grass just outside the windows of the living room! The lack of city lights allow for incredible views of the milky way at night. We think our place will help you experience everything out in the country has to offer.

The owner is an amazing host and the property is idyllic. We had a wonderful time there. It was so relaxing. What I will say is that if you want spotless brand new facilities and appliances, etc., you should probably rent a nice hotel or fancy condo. THis place is a little rustic, but it is wonderful. Russell, the owner was very helpful and a genuinely nice guy. Had a great time talking with him. I could not give Russell or the property a higher recomendation. We cannot wait to go back to this place.

Very sweet little getaway cabin. The cabin was right by the river. Our dog absolutely loved it. We had a busy weekend and this was the perfect oasis to settle into. Thank you!

Pretty location. Nice and quiet. Close to town without being in town. Not fancy, but comfortable. Would stay here again

Unfortunately, we were not able to come over and stay at Russell's house but he was gracious enough to understand our last minute family emergency. We hope to come and stay at a later time as his home is inviting and at a perfect location right across the river from our friends.
