De ligging is schitterend. Het zijn slechts drie huisjes en ze liggen boven/middenin het baobabbos. De apen komen in de ochtend bij je kijken, echt heel erg leuk hoe zelfverzekerd ze naast je gaan zitten (ze proberen dingen te stelen, maar ze zijn zo vriendelijk en komisch). En ze hebben veel respect voor het personeel dus bij het ontbijt laten ze je met rust. Er is een mooie bar (lekkere cocktails) en restaurant bij en het personeel is ontzettend aardig. Om 6 uur in de avond wordt er fruit bij de bar gelegd zodat de bushbabies langskomen. Wij vonden het superleuk om hier een paar dagen te verblijven, omdat het een compleet andere kant van Zanzibar laat zien.

L'endroit est magique. Vraiment. Ce lodge est vraiment atypique pour Zanzibar. Ici la star n'est pas la mer, mais la nature. Le point de vue est fabuleux, les couchers de soleil grandioses. Nourriture simple mais très bien préparée et présentée. Propreté nickel. Hate d'y retourner

The secluded and quiet area away from the main resort areas made it seem like one is in the real Zansibar, with original vegetation, forest and village life on your doorstep. The lodge has beautiful views out over the Baobab trees to the ocean with lots of birds and monkey viewing, and also a short walk to the local villages and the beautiful Mtende beach.
