Welcome to The Sunshine Inn, nestled in the serene hillside of Beachwalk Resort, a haven of tranquility in Michigan City, Indiana. This delightful vacation home boasts accommodations for up to 15 guests, ensuring ample space for unforgettable gatherings and cherished memories. The vibrant ambiance of The Sunshine Inn is sure to uplift your spirits from the moment you cross the threshold. The first floor offers a full bathroom complete with a tub, a convenient laundry room, and a bunk room capable of accommodating up to seven guests, making it an ideal haven for the younger members of your group. Step out onto the front porch and indulge in some leisurely people-watching as the world passes by. Head to the second floor to unveil a spacious kitchen, dining, and living area seamlessly connected to a triple-level deck where you can savor alfresco meals while soaking in the serene vistas of Beachwalk Resort. This floor also hosts a Queen bedroom and another full bathroom for added convenience. The third floor offers a primary suite with a Queen bed and an ensuite full bathroom. An additional 3rd floor bedroom featuring a double bed with a trundle and a bonus sleeping nook with a twin bed ensure restful nights for all. As part of Beachwalk Resort, you'll have access to a plethora of seasonal amenities including a heated pool, toddler pool, basketball court, tennis court, bocce ball court, shuffleboard, playground, putting green, fishing, paddle boarding and kayaking on Lake Kai. Of course, Sheridan Beach on Lake Michigan is just a 5 minute stroll from your front door. Please note that parking passes and wristbands are required for all guests ages 4 and up from mid-May through September to access these amenities. Wristbands are $15. This cheery home is opening for the 2024 season for the first time, and offers 7-night stays during peak season, with check-in and check-out on Sundays. HOUSE RULES -No smoking or vaping indoors -Pets considered with additional security deposit -No parties -No fireworks -Must be 25 years old and present for the duration of the stay to reserve. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented Sunshine Inn for the weekend, and it was everything we wanted and more! The house was located in this super cute, family-oriented neighborhood literally a block away from the beach. The area had outdoor activities and security that patrolled at night--which we thought was a nice perk. The house was perfect for my group of 15 because we had lots of space and were able to easily cook/grill in the kitchen and outdoor patio deck. We just wanted a place where we could hang out and relax, so we spent most of our time on the deck and the beach! A lot of the houses nearby were pretty cool too, as each house seemed different (i.e. we noticed some groups enjoyed bonfires on their front yard, each house was named/different color, etc). Everyone had such a great time, and we would definitely stay in the area again!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Sunshine Inn was serviceable, but had some odd characteristics to it. The streaming TV was very limiting and rarely worked, the curtains on all the windows were half the size of the windows, so the sun crept into the room at 6am, the master bedroom had a full bed, not a queen or king. In general, the entire house needs updating, including the patio deck. Outside of those items, the house was in a good location, enjoyed the area and close distance to the lake. We enjoyed the ammenities the community offers. Management company was very responsive when the hot water heater broke (fixed very next day).

Reviewer Comments: Grandparents, 3 adult kids and spouses and 7 kids all just fit perfectly in this nice vacation home. the association pool was very nice and access to the beach was only a short walk. Everything was perfect except for one little issue; the ice and water dispenser on the fridge did not work. alas no ice
